I think my darling hubby is getting me this ring for Christmas. Do you wear rings on your right hand while sporting your e-ring (or for married ladies, your bridal set) on your left? Or do you think that’s way too much going on?
What if your e-ring is white gold and other rings you love are yellow gold. Does it look weird to wear both (on separate hands)?
I know it’s all personal choice. I prefer the “less is more” route. But I was just wondering what you all thought.
If anyone has pics of rings they wear that aren’t either their e-ring or wedding band, I’d like to see them.
Maybe I also don’t feel like working today and I’d like some ring porn any way I can get it ! 😉

That ring is gorgeous! I don’t wear any ring other then my engagement ring unless I’m going out that night. Sometimes I’ll wear a fun, obnoxious cocktail ring on the right side. Normally I’m in the ‘less is more’ category when it comes to jewelry 🙂

I wear my engagement ring/wedding band on my left hand and a Claddagh ring that my parents gave me years ago on my right hand.

I always wear a ring on my right hand! Sorry no pics =( But I always wear my e-ring with my wedding bands (1 on either side of my e-ring) and then on my right hand I usually either wear a purple amethyst garnet ring with a diamong halo and diamond side stones, or an antique diamond ring that has been passed down in my family for about 4 generations, but has never been an e-ring or anything like that. The attached pic is a pic I found online that is very similar to the diamond ring I wear on my right hand.

I wear rings on my right hand.
No pic, but I have a diamond ring that my parents gave me as my graduation gift from college vs. a school ring, that I always wear on my right hand.

@AnnieAAA: Aww, I had one a diamond cluster “graduation ring” from my parents too but I was robbed one year. They took all my sentimental jewellery but left the tv and sfuff. Go figure 🙁

I wear my bridal set on my left hand and a sapphire and diamond ring that was my grandmother’s on my right hand. Sometimes I change it up and wear a different ring on my right hand, but I am definitely one of those boring people who wear the exact same jewelry every day, except earrings (I like to switch those up!). I have a very thin, simple bracelet that I always wear on my right arm that is silver AND gold, so I never worry about matching my other jewelry – I figure I have both metal bases covered!

@ItalianLady: That stinks!! I have a somewhat crazy similar story too. About a year after my parents gave me my ring, my house was broken in to, they stole my laptop; and I couldn’t believe it, but somehow they missed my ring that was sitting right in front of my computer! So although my computer was gone, I was thankful they didn’t take my ring.

Like AnamCara, I also have a claddagh ring I wear on my right hand ring finger. My fiance gave it to me very early in our relationship, so I’ve worn it all along. And now I have the engagement ring on my left hand! In case you’re wondering, I’ll wear both on our wedding day, since the claddagh has such important meaning to us as a couple.
I don’t wear other rings part-time, however – just these two every day. Once we’re married and I have the wedding band, I might not wear the other two rings every day (I work with my hands a lot).

I wear my Nanny’s engagement ring on my right ring finger. It has been there since I got it for my 21st birthday. I can’t imagine not wearing it.

I wear my e-ring on my left and college class ring on my right, almost always. I do swap out the college ring for something fancier if the occasion warrants it.

I wear my promise ring or my first engagement ring (he bought one he could afford and wanted to upgrade a few months later) on my right hand unless I’m at work. Then at work I actually wear my promise ring in place of my engagement ring so it won’t get ruined (it almost has a few times and I don’t want that to happen to his grandmother’s diamond).

I’m with TerraWellness. My cousin gave me her mom’s diamond/sapphire anniversary band on my wedding day and I wear it on my right ring finger. It’s such a great memory of my aunt (who passed away in March) that I couldn’t not wear it. That said, any more than that plus the e-ring & wedding band is too much for me.

I wear my e-ring on my left and I wear a pink sapphire on my middle finger on the right hand. It doesn’t look like too much, but I don’t think I’d wear more.
Love the ring on the OP…beautiful!

Right now? Nothing–my e-ring and wedding band are soldered together, so I don’t get to wear the mega-ring until Friday morning at about 10:30. 😉 FH talks about wanting to upgrade the garnet in my e-ring to a ruby or emerald, but I told him that I love it as it is–and he’s welcome to buy me an anniversary ring in a few years! Haha. I’d wear that one on my right hand, probably.
