I  hardly ever wear stockings unless I know that the shoes are going to give me blisters. And even then, it’s only with a close toed shoe.

I don’t wear stockings with anything, any time of year, and I live in PA. I just don’t like the look of them. If it’s really cold, I will wear opaque tights, but I find the look of hosiery dated.

Never…it’s one of my pet peeves! Either do close toed shoes or don’t do stockings.

    I don’t usually – I dislike it in general.

But at some of the larger department stores you can find open toe hosiery.  THere’s a little loop that goes around your big toe to keep them on but they don’t look like stockings in the peep toe 🙂

Never. It baffles my mom. She can’t see how I can go bare-legged!

I never ever wear stockings and I definitely dont wear them with open toed shoes. Its tights (I find cute patterned ones at Jcrew and Anthropologie) or nothing.

Please do not wear stockings with peep toes. peep toe shoes/heels are made so you can see the toes. That and honestly to me any type of stocking peeking out of a peep toe is really and I hate to use this word but tacky

@MacFaniam24: toeless stockings seem even weirder to me. Like I can see you’re wearing stockings but then there are bare toes???

Whether or not you wear hoisery or do not wear hoisery, I wouldn’t wear it with peep toed heels because you don’t want the toe and seam showing at the toe.

I say don’t wear them and April should be fine for you. Is it a before Easter thing? If you still feel inclined to, I would suggest wearing the footless ones so there’s no seam and it looks like you’re not wearing any!

I like the idea of bridal hoisery because it just seems like it completes the bridal lingerie look with the garter belt, the garter, the sexy thigh highs, etc. However, get the footless if you have open toe or just wear closed toe shoes.

I think for the most part, stockings are a little dated… unless they’re more utilitarian because it’s cold out (like tights).  But if it’s cold out… you shouldn’t be wearing peep-toe shoes.

Short answer:  if you’re going to wear stockings, wear toe-less ones.  🙂

I personally do not like the look, but it is actually very in with the fashion gods right now FYI…
