I wear mine all the time except when I come in contact with water (showering, washing my hands/face, swimming) only because it’s a little big on me and I’m afraid of it falling off. If it was tighter on me, I wouldn’t take it off.

I take mine off when I shower, when I clean and when I do my skincare in the morning and evening. I have a ring dish near each bathroom (I shower in the en suite but do my skincare in the main bathroom) and these are the ONLY places I let myself leave my ring when I remove it, in the hope that this will reduce my chances of ever losing it in the house. I used to also take it off to sleep in, but a couple of times I was knocking it off the ring dish on my bedside table when I was asleep and this was causing me a lot of anxiety. So now I keep it on at bedtime.
Oh, just remembered I also take it off when I blow dry my hair. If I leave it on it gets really hot!

I take mine off for sleeping & then put it on once I’m ready for the day (after workout, makeup & hair is done). I take it off before my nightly skicare routine. It also comes off when I’m working with fondant for a cake. If I’m wearing it & I hop in the shower, I leave it on. Same with gardening, dishes and other dirty activies. I take them off for working with ground meat, swimming or doing aynthing in cool water.

Not if it is done properly. But that solder joint where they size it can always be potentially a problem if you do a lot of things with metal. (like lift weights or golf). Most of the time it is not an issue. People have their rings sized all the time. But I have seen where it was not done correctly and it can crack at that joint. And of course the thinner your ring is, the more it can be a potential issue. But I wouldnt worry about it at the moment!

I hate that I can’t wear my engagement ring to work as I’m in health care and don’t want to ruin it with all the patient care and lifting . Plus I’m scared of being robbed, I know that sounds silly but I walk to work from train station while it’s still dark in the morning. I wear only my wedding band. I’ve never had a piece of jewelry so expensive 😆

I always take my ER off for showers, cleaning, working out, or lounging but usually leave my wedding ring on all the time.

I always wear my wedding band, rarely wear my engagement ring. I wear it when we go out or I dress up, but not typically to work or just day-to-day outings.

I take mine off to shower and sleep. I wear gloves usually when I clean with chemicals. I also take it off if I’m at the beach or in a lake or ocean.

can you share the style name/ designer? I’m pretty sure this is exactly what one of my friends is looking for but has been having trouble finding one without extra embellishments.
I only take mine off when I rock climb but otherwise wear it all the time. I have insurance in case something happened but lots of lake/ocean activities, gardening and general life things it’s been totally fine

pretty ring and congrats on your engagement! I personally don’t wear my ring to do chores, like ever lol because i want to preserve the shine. now that im thinking about it, i really don’t wear my e-ring all that much lol i work in healthcare and wear gloves often, and my ring is 1.6 ct, so i really dont want to mess with it at work. so i guess i really only wear it when im off work and going out.

I work from home so its pointless to me to wear my rings. I wear a silicone ring. But if I am going out on date or somewhere besides a grocery store or outdoor event… I will wear my set.

Lily Arkwright. Mine is moissanite but they also work with lab diamonds. I’m in the UK and I’m not sure if they ship elsewhere. This ring is the 0.6ct Grace and I customised it with a slightly thinner band.

I don’t wear my ring all the time. I do wear them most of the time though. I don’t wear them when I shower, cook, and clean with cleaning chemicals. That’s pretty much it

I wouldn’t wear it all the time. I take mine off when I clean, cook, sleep, workout, and shower. It’s just not worth the risk. I keep little ring dishes around my apartment (one in my room, and one right by my kitchen sink), so when I take it off it has a specific spot. And I ONLY put it in the ring dish (this will help you from misplacing it!). If I travel, I take the ring box that it came in with me, and put it in that. Hope this helps!

I wear a 3.43ct emerald cut, and only take it off when I shower or if I’m doing something potentially damaging, like gardening, or messy cooking/baking. But otherwise I sleep in it, etc. and pretty much wear it all the time. I take it off for showers because it’s my routine to soak it in cleaner (just dish soap and water, with a splash of vinegar) every morning while I shower, plus it gets quite loose from the shampoo and I don’t want it to fly off, AND I don’t want soap residue to accumulate on it. I’m pretty neurotic about keeping it clean lol.
