I don’t wear my e-ring at all when I work out. I’m afraid it will get banged up when I pumping some iron or slip off when I sweating up some cardio (it’s a bit big and I never had it resized).
I leave it in the cupholder of my car. I’m way too paranoid that someone will steal it.

I wear mine to the gym. Although once I get my wedding band, I might just wear that. I love to look at it when holding plank. It helps keep me distracted!

I don’t go to the gym because I either workout at home or by doing activities outside and I wear both rings doing that. However, if I did go to the gym wearing my ring(s) would depend on what kind of work out I am doing that day. If I am lifting or doing strength training I would probably just wear my wedding band alone. If I planned on just jogging or doing the elliptical I may wear both.

I do only because I feel very skeptical leaving it in a locker. I don’t go to the gym often (only if the weather outside sucks for running), so it’s usually right after work. I did notice that it tends to keep the creepy guys away though.. haha… Last week, the gym was pretty dead (day after Christmas) and this guy (who took a bath in cologne) got on the treadmill right next to me, even though there were about 25 free treadmills. Saw him get a glimpse of my ring and about 5 minutes later he was done with the treadmills and hopped on a stationary bike next to another chick.. WTF? haha

No I feel like it would scratch on the bar bells.

No. I do not wear my wedding rings to the gym or running. I do have a spare band and /or plain stackers I will wear instead if I bother to wear anything at all on my ring finger. I usually keep them on my right hand and switch them out (these are also the ones I wear traveling, camping, etc). I do not mind these ones getting scratched and worn, or even dented from weights and the like. They are also sized generously so that swelling does not bother me, nor do they risk slipping off.
It is pretty easy to damage the rings with weights, or the handles of cardio machines, or worse…to catch your ring finger on something and really damage your finger. I would not want to wear a ring that you did not want to risk damage too OR that had a setting that could easily catch on something.
There are certain physical activities I definitely do not wear ANY rings for where there is a risk of loss or more importantly a risk to my own physical health if I caught my rings on something!

I’m not married yet, but I always wear my ring to the gym. And everywhere for that matter, except when I know I will be in water for a long period of time (i.e swimming, shower, or waShing dishes/my hair). I have forgotten a few times , and let’s just say I got more attention than I bargained for… its like my pretecting sheild (which I LOVE).

I wear my engagement ring, but I only do hot yoga at the gym. If i were lifting weights I might reconsider that.

I find it uncomfortable to wear my ring while working out. Between finger swelling, sweat, and if I use weights it pushes my ring into my skin and hurts. It’s not a matter of safety of the ring or anything, it just legit hurts to wear the ring while sweating and holding onto weights. I workout at home, so I just come home from work, throw the ring onto its holder, change into workout clothes and workout…and then it’s off for the night so I don’t worry about it in the shower, washing dishes, sleeping, etc. I basically only wear it out of the house, but once again that’s because I find it uncomfortable (I never wore rings before and even after a full year have yet to get used to it)

I don’t. The weights at the gym are metal, no foamy grips. I’m worried it will flatten out the bottom of the ring or scratch it up. I used to wear a knock of engagement ring to the gym to keep creepers from bothering me though. 😛

I usually don’t wear it. If I forget to take it off, I wrap it around my ear buds so it is safe and secure while I am exercising.

I only wear mine if I go to the gym straight from work.. I’m not comfortable leaving my rings in the car or my locker. Otherwise I don’t wear them.

When I get to the gym to change into my workout clothes and shoes, I take off all my jewelry and lock it in my locker with all my other stuff.
