@MeiFrancis:  Do you feel it’s safer on your necklace than on your finger?  (This seriously isn’t meant to be snarky, but I know it sounds like it is!)

@Mars62312:  nope not snarky! I’m not afraid to lose my ring at the gym or damage the diamond, but I don’t want the bottom of the band to be scratched from lifting weights and sometimes my hands swell when I work out, so it’s better for me to take it off before I start.

I do! It’s great motivation for those extra 5 minutes!

So I’ve been thinking about this post since I posted and I went to Bodypump last night and all I could think about was my bands griding against the bar!  I think I may start leaving my Engagement Ring at home (ONLY if I’m leaving from home) but I’ll never remove my w-band!

I picked other since I put my rings on a ring holder necklace by EmilyC. I tried Tiffany’s charm holder but the clasp didn’t seem always opening and closing smoothly.

I feel the rings are safer on a chain than on my hand at times. I would not leave the house wihtout my set, so having a ring holder comes in handy.

I love the idea of the necklace ring holder!

I am not engaged yet, but I take all my jewellery off when I go to the gym/exercise (unless I forget) so I plan to do the same with my engagement ring and wedding band, though I may change my mind once I start wearing them. I’m very sentimental and have always said I would ‘never’ take them off, though that not very practical!

I have a fake stand-in ring, but I don’t ever wear it. As for working out, I do not wear my ring because I’m afraid i will lose a diamond!

I wear a plain yellow gold band to the gym because I don’t want my wedding set to get damaged. I also don’t like the way my set feels when I work out.

I only take my ring off when putting on body lotion, tanning, using harsh cleaners/chemicals, or occasionally if I’ve just cleaned my ring and I’m getting in the bath or shower and want to keep it sparkly.

Otherwise I don’t take it off…consciously. Because apparently while sleeping I’ll take it off and put it under my pillow, or Fiance pillow….

I don’t have an e-ring, but I wear my wedding band to the gym.
