Tell me do you wear your engagement and wedding rings on the same hand or separately and why!?
Also I wouldn’t mind pictures if you want! 😛
For me, I’m not engaged yet but Boyfriend or Best Friend and I have gone ring shopping twice (we always ended up at the same place looking at the same ring!!)
I’ve always been a fan of wearing the two together on my left hand but the ring we were looking at is kind of bulky and adding the matching wedding band makes it too much for my finger.
I’m kind of disappointed but at the same time, the ring had a huge cz diamond (about 2-2.5ct equivalent) and the jeweler said that using a smaller diamond would scale down the ring.

I wear my rings together, as they are both thin bands. Dainty jewelry is just my style. I can see why you would be hesitant to wear both of those together, as they are definitely individual statement pieces and might overpower your finger if worn together. You could always get the e-ring and a different wedding band that is thinner. There is no rule that they must match exactly. In fact, I prefer an eclectic/non-match-y look.

@lovekiss: Yes I was thinking of trying to get one similar to the matching wedding band but have it only one row of diamonds instead of three? That would narrow it down a bit

We’re not married yet but I’ve always wanted to wear my wedding band on the left and engagement on the right. If I do get the intricate eternity band I’m looking at I feel like it won’t be overpowered by my e-ring!

As a person who enjoys jewelery I would feel like I couldn’t wear a lot of different rings with always wearing the same 2. Just something to consider if you like rings a lot.

I wear both on the same hand, they’re dainty bands. But I think it’s too much bling and I’m self conscious about it at times. Don’t get me wrong I LOVE bling and would never thought I’d ever hear myself saying that it’s too much. But although both bands are dainty they are 3 rows of pave diamonds so it sparkles a lot. I love them both individually as they still are strong enough to stand on their own, but together it is too much.

I’m not married yet, but I plan on wearing my wedding band and engagement ring both on my left hand.

I wear both on my left hand.

I wear both on my left hand. I wear them both on that hand because that is just how I like wearing them & they are both dainty. If it was a problem though I would wear only my band on my left, but I prefer both on my left.
& Since you asked. 🙂
This is how they sit right now because the wedding band is like a size 9 or 10 & I am a size 5.5
But once the wedding band is sized and not so loose they will be like this:

@Sweet.Sugar.Rose: i keep seeing your rings on other posts and it’s so unique. is it ruby? i had a marquise shaped ruby with side baguettes from a previous marriage. do people ask you if it’s your ering? i used to get that a lot.

@mypinkshoes: I haven’t had it really long enough for many people to see it to ask, but so far no one has. We will see within time though, haha.
It is a ruby! 🙂 I love it!

I wear mine both on my left hand. They’re both thick bands and take up most of my finger to the knuckle but I love chunky jewelry so it works for me!

I wear my wedding ring on my left and my ering on my right because they are different materials and don’t fit together nicely so they pinch my finger if I wear them both together. I’m used to it now and I like it that way.

Mine look better on seperate hands!

I’ll be wearing mine together, but I had that preference in mind when buying my band. 🙂
Sorry, gross cell phone pic. But you get the idea.
ETA: Fiance wanted me to get 2 bands, but I said no because of finances (I’m going back to Grad School soon). Now he’s planning on getting a second band for an anniversary. Lol. I swear he loves bling more than me! Not that I’m protesting or anything. 😉 ha.
