To the beach or the pool, I always take mine off.  The ring is a little loose and I’d be afraid of it coming off when getting hit by a wave or just normal swimming.

Water can cause shrinkage, so if it’s a tad big I definitely wouldn’t wear it.

There is a big sign at the jewelry store not to wear your ring in apool so i vote to leave it at home.

I recently got engaged and have been looking high and low for some solution to keeping my ring safe while swimming… I figured I’d share this with y’all… http://www.ringwrapper.com

It takes about a day to get used to but I don’t even know I’m wearing it anymore.

I don’t wear mine swimming because the chlorine react with the white gold. If you have platinum you are fine, but with white gold it turns super fast. I teach swim lessons 4 evenings a week and I take my rings off. The chlorine is just so bad for it.

When I swim laps I take it off, but if I’m just visiting friends or whatever, I leave it on.

I always take if off if I know I will be swimming. I take my glasses off while swiming in a lake, beach etc.  My guy didn’t do that and he lost his glasses at the bottom of the lake last year.
