I look at green inspiration boards and wonder what it would have been like if we had done our wedding in green and gold, which was my second choice for colors. I am really happy we did red and cream, and I’ll always be happy that was our choice. But sometimes I imagine what it would have looked like the other way.
Do you wonder about things you might have done differently, even if you’re 100% happy with your wedding?

I am not married yet but in doing my research for our wedding I find that I could be happy with multiple color palettes. I think the yellow and grey palatte is so beautiful and I could totally center an entire wedding around it but it just doesn’t feel like me.
I think I’m just going to have to start theming any party I have and DIY’ing things for them to use up all my creative ideas.

@soonerpsych: YES! Darling Husband and I were just talking about this the other day. There was a venue that we loved but ultimately chose the venue we got married at. We were saying the other day that our wedding would have been completely different had we gotten married at the other venue and a little part of us wishes that we had even though we loved our wedding and had a blast!

YES! It drives me nuts sometimes. The only thing I would change would be my colors too. I hated hated my colors. I had always wanted for my girls black dresses with awesome shades of pinks for my flowers, I let everyone talk me out of the black. When we went to go dress shopping, I was sick as dog, and on 2 hours of sleep. So I just wanted to get out of the store, I said yes to whatever my sister and mom picked. They went with a dark champange, it was tafftta (SP) and it really did nothing for the girls and the color was incredibly hard to match anything with it. My flowers were not at all what I had hoped and wished for, but I liked them, didn’t love them.

Yes, I do. The two things I fantasize about are choosing a venue with a nicer ballroom (our venue had EVERYTHING going for it except for a big ballroom, it was kind of cramped) and also having a small wedding, like immediate family only. I try not to dwell on it though, because the grass is always greener mentality can really do damage if you aren’t careful.

Yep! I totally wonder sometimes and my wedding isn’t even here yet. What if I stuck with my original colors. What if I went with a different theme. What if what if what if… its enough to drive you mad 🙂

Yes! Certain photos! I wish I would have remembered to write down my ABSOLUTE MUST HAVE PHOTOS for our Photographer and I didn’t. We have great photos but there were some that were missed that we really wanted to have.
