Dear god no. That’s bad for your rings AND your hands.

Look up one photo of “degloving” and that should convince you otherwise… 😬😬😬

I bought a few different rings from Enso to wear for working out/hiking/swimming so I can preserve my beauty of a ring!

My only workout is yoga, and yes I do yoga with my ring on.

I train in martial arts 3-4 days a week and as much as I love my ring and don’t want to take it off, I swap it for a silicone band for the protection of my partners, my own hand, and my ring. It’s more comfortable working out (holding weapons, wearing gloves, doing different techniques that require any movement that would cause a ring to spin, etc) and I don’t have to worry about damaging the ring, myself, or others. I have more peace of mind wearing my engagement ring in settings where I know it’s protected and more appropriate, and the silicone band works so well for these activities. ALSO, I wouldn’t feel safe if I wore my engagement ring to my classes and then encountered a situation where I had to take it off. I like knowing that it’s either on my finger or in a ring dish, so I’d rather not risk it. And think of it this way, you’ll be more excited to put it back on once you’ve exercised!

No, I barely wear my ring.

Its the last thing I put on and the first thing I take off when I leave the house.

I’ll wear it to work and when I go out on weekends but that’s it. I won’t wear it around the house or if I’m just doing groceries. I definitely wouldn’t wear it to the gym etc.

I wear my wedding ring set all the time, the only times I take them off is when I’m doing housework and when I’m at the gym. I just put my rings on a necklace that I never take off

Absolutely not. I don’t want to harm my rings or run the risk of injury to my finger. The only jewelry I wear when working out are my stud earrings.

disbeeprincess :  No, my wedding bands are eternity rings and I damaged a stone weight lifting.

Omg don’t do it!! You’ll damage your rings, and the risk of cutting off your finger isn’t worth it.

I did wear my ring almost all the time, to all different sorts of workouts….then the stone came loose. So, wouldn’t suggest it!

Not since I read about degloving. Horrifying. Plus I have had to have a ring fixed because everything  loosened up because I was doing everyyyyythinggg in it. Heavy weights. Heavy cleaning at home. Apparently I was lucky all the stones didn’t come out.

Believe me I don’t baby my jewellery. I cook and  light clean (meaning no lifting furniture. Using a mop or broom is fine) in them. I just use protective gloves. I sleep and shower in them too. I just don’t do any lifting anymore because obviously for me it caused a problem.
