Yes. He definitely has a whole bunch of his own towels. For bath time and muddy/dirty paws.

Although, they’re nothing special, they’re just towels I don’t want anymore, and they get retired as “dog towels”.

mine don’t…but now that you mention it I’m totally embroidering their names on a couple towels =D I dig this idea.

We use our old beach towels for him.  He definitely has his own… I use them for baths, put them down on the couch/chair on rainy/muddy days and also line his crate with them.  He’s in the crate when we’re not home during the day and he gets too hot with a bed in there.  Most of the time he pushes the towel around and uses it as a pillow and just lays on the plastic.  Weirdo ๐Ÿ™‚

They get washed separately from ours, too – extra hot water for all his dander and germies ๐Ÿ™‚

Our dog doesn’t have her own towels and if she ever does, they’ll be old, ratty rag towels that we would otherwise throw out.

I wouldn’t spend money to get my dogs special towels.

@thewheelsonthebus: oh yea! I wash our dogs towel seperately, and he has his own special blankets for the couch, although he digs them up to make a nest which drives me CRAZY.

We use our old towels that have been retired from human use. We go do the dog park and it’s clay so I don’t want all my towels to turn orange so they get the hand-me-downs. lol

Yup, we just use our really old yucky ones that aren’t soft and fluffy anymore- she doesn’t care! Also, see if you can get your hands on raw dog food for your dogs skin condition and allergies- totally works WONDERS. You can start just by adding a raw egg to his food- they love it and the natural vitamins are so good for their coats!

We got this as one of our wedding gifts. It absorbs water a lot better then normal towels.

@PrncssDva: hahaha I have no idea what he’s thinking. He nests (digs) more than my cat and more than any other animal I’ve ever met…

I use retired towels too as dog towels haha!!!  My dogs have lots of hair and there’s always clumps of it left in the towels after the dryer, so those are their towels now!!

What shampoo are you using for your dog?  I have a dog I am bathing weekly due to skin irritation, but found out he is hypothyroid ๐Ÿ™
