Yes! I spoon with my cat and he scratches the side of the bed until I let him up! Sometimes its annoying (esp when were trying to have sexy time) I love my cat so much its crazy! He helped me with my depression and now that its controlled my cat and I are close. Im not crazy I swear just a cat lover! My adopted cat just recently started sleeping on FI’s side. Below is a pic on my side of the bed with Samoa aka ” Momo” 🙂

All 3 dogs sleep with us needless to say we are upgrading to a king size bed after the wedding!

Nope, our dog comes to bed with us while we are watching TV but we put him in his crate when we go to bed. The reason we decided to have the dog sleep in his crate is because bed time is our time to hang out just the two of us and catch up with each other.

@UpstateCait: lol that sounds way too familiar!

My golden is allowed on furniture if invited and we let him curl up at our feet at night.
It cracks me up when I wake up with him still in the bed, but find toys out in the living room (I put them all back in his toy box before bed). 🙂

We have two dachshunds. They don’t sleep with us at night but whenever I take a nap they cuddle with me. They are great snugglers! 🙂 Otherwise they have a crate that they always sleep in.

My little 4 pound pomeranian sleeps with me most nights, but she also likes her cushy dog bed that I have on the floor by my bed sometimes. I used to be afraid of smothering her because she loves to squish herself up against me, but she seems pretty good at surviving. 🙂

2 of our 3 cats almost always sleep with us. Usually the biggest cat curls up on my stomach, and the kitten stretches out at our feet. When I fell asleep last night, she was snuggled under the covers between us (right around my chest). I woke up around 4, and she had moved onto my lower back (I was on my stomach), and was still there when I woke up a few hours later.

We don’t let our malamute sleep in bed with us…he is 100 lbs of fluff, and it would just be a furry mess. We crate him, and he doesn’t seem to mind. His crate is like his “den” where he goes to chill during the day if he’s had enough “people time”. I did let him sleep on the couch with me while my fiance was deployed, though. It was nice to have the cuddle bug there so I didn’t feel alone!! 🙂

Both of our dogs have been sleeping in our Queen-sized bed with us for two years now. Thank god our King is being delivered this weekend:)

@NoMoreStew: I second that doxies are great snugglers!
Our doxie sleeps with us EVERY night. We wouldn’t have it any other way, too. He is a sensitive and dependent little guy. He likes to be either in between us or at least his body against one of us (for heat, I imagine) and mostly under the covers. He is such a snuggle worm and when he is at my mom’s, we miss having him sleep with us. 🙂 I have to say though that oftentimes he likes to sleep lengthwise, so in our Queen bed, that leaves us with not very much space for either of us. We want to upgrade to a King sometime soon!

- Wedding: June 2010 - Tannery Pond at the Darrow School
For some reason, all the “yes” responses are cracking me up, especially if it’s a dog! We let our dog sleep in our bed (something I’m kind of embarassed about) and honestly, I love it! We started crating her at night and then about 2 months after we got her, she just decided that this was not going to fly and barked, cried and whined until 3:00 am, at which point we gave in and let her on our bed and there was just no going back after that…

Our dog sleeps on his bed until about 6 or 7 in the morning. I don’t know how it started, but he seems to know that once it’s morning, he’s allowed to come up. He always waits to be invited, it’s pretty cute. He’s a serious space hog so I don’t think we could handle him sleeping there all the time!

No, but she has her own room (she likes to sleep in her crate/travel bag, maybe that will change soon). We kinda think of like how we would treat our kids. We wouldn’t have them sleeping in our bed, so our puppy doesn’t either. We have a 3 bedroom house and even though we have one room for her, she still likes to sleep in her crate/travel bag. lol

My little 8 pound cat takes up about 3/4 of my queen sized bed every night, leaving me to cling to the edge. But I love how she purrs when she lays down beside me so I don’t have the heart to kick her out.
