hi!

i used sydney fee with “Your Day Your Way Event Planning”.  she was the best thing i could have asked for besides a groom that shows up and good weather!!  seriously.  she’s so on top of things and knowledgeable and has the foresight that made me put 100% trust in her and my wedding details.  she also didn’t appear to be stress, or overwhelmed at any point – she was very calm and collected, which helped me be calm and collected.  i would recommend her in a heart beat and would use her over and over and over if i could.  She won second place for king 5’s “Best of Western Washington” contest.  she’s also VERY affordable.

Mention that Chris and Stephanie’s wedding recommended you!  You should be able to get 10% off her services!!

here’s her website…

she’s in the process of updating her website, so don’t be fooled by the “antiquated” website.

Congrats and good luck.

I am using Nancy Skipton. She is in Kent, but will meet you anywhere you want. Her website is: http://simplycelebrations.com/index.htm

She is awesome and will work with your budget. If you want to PM me, I can give you my name, so if you contact her, you can let her know I sent you to her. It may or may not help you.

I am using Bobbi Roth, but I also met with Sydney and was very close to going with her.

Bobbi’s website.  http://www.bobbirothweddingdesign.com/main.html

Both women were willing to work with differnt budgets. I would suggest talking to both.

We weren’t planning to do a DOC, but our friendor doing reception venue set up had to cancel this week— and our wedding is 7 weeks from now! (Doing the set up ourselves with the help of family/friends isn’t an option.)  We have a couple other options we’re exploring, but we’ll get a DOC if we must. Were these DOCs pretty flexible and willing to customize their packages?

@red: I can only speak for Nancy. She has been very flexible, so far, and I expect her to continue to be.

I am using Rachel from http://www.LetsKlink.com.  Here is her blog too…http://letsklink.com/blog/.  This woman is awesome.  She’s only doing DOC services (although she’ll do everything you want in different packages) and my wedding isn’t for another year but we e-mail several times a week.  She wants to hear everything I’m doing and is never short on ideas.  I’m sure also if you mention Talisha you will get a discount.  It’s def worth meeting with her.

I looked around and told potential vendors all I wanted was a meeting the week before the wedding to go over my plan, I didn’t need help with a timeline, they could show up right before the ceremony and leave pretty quickly into the reception after all reception activities were complete.  Pretty simple right?  I was quoted $2200 by one person!  But I ended up finding several to meet with who were around the $500 range +- $100.  If you book pretty quickly after engagement then you can spread out the costs.  What I love about my DOC is I felt she would be me at the wedding.

I am working w/ Kelsey from Sugarccomb Event Design

She is my DOC and is also managing everything the month leading into my wedding day.  She worked with my budget and 10% of the total goes to Therapy Art at Childrens Hospital.

She is a complete doll!

Another vote here for Sydney Fee with Your Day Your Way! My wedding isn’t until July but I got every possible good vibe from her when we met. She’s completely in charge of making sure every detail goes according to plan, and is willing to do just about anything on the day of your wedding to make sure that you, the groom, and your family and friends don’t have to do anything but sit back and relax. She even gave us a steep discount when I told her what our budget for a DOC was.
