Okay, Bees, I was/am having serious shoe regret. I had shopped and shopped and was just not been satisfied. I bought a pair of shoes that were o-kay because I needed to get my dress hemmed (wedding is in 18 days now!!)
Anyways, here’s what I need WeddingBee wisdom on – the shoes I had my dressed hemmed to are 85mm (3.35 inches) but I think I finally found a pair I love that are 90mm (3.54 inches). Annnd, I pick my dress up tomorrow. So, does 5mm matter? It’s like 0.20 inches
FYI, Option #3 is my least fav because it’s like more alteration costs and, also, worrying that the dress might not be ready in time – like will my seamstress be able to fit me in?
Any experience or advice??

It should be completely fine. That’s a teeny difference. Glad you found shoes you love!

Honestly, I think it will be fine. You usually have some wriggle room with hems. 1/4 of an inch is not a lot of difference.

Try it all on and just make sure that you are not tripping! You should be fine.

This actually happen to me – I had shoes that were 3.5 inches tall, but they were too gold for my champagne ribbon on my dress. I actually bought champagne 3.75 inch shoes that suited the dress (LOVE THEM). It did not make it look too short at all.
