Hello!

I’m interested in cleaning a sofa set and then moving on to clean the seating in my car. I’m picturing just using some sort of steam cleaner/vacuum combination to help steam and suck out the nastiness. Does this even exist? I’ve Googled, but nothing seems to come up besides handheld vacuums or the big carpet steam cleaners. Opinions? Advice?

Thank you!

I had one of these small Bissell cleaners:
It worked pretty good until it broke after about 6 years. Now I have a big one that has a handheld hose attachment on the side.

nice! Did you ever use this on upholstery? What “big one” do you have now? It’s a steamer and a vacuum in one?

Yes, I used it to clean spots on couches and in the car. It worked pretty good and got most of the moisture out so drying times were quick. It was good for spot cleaning mostly because it’s so small.
My new one is called a bissell pro-heat and is the larger standing vaccuum, but still has a handheld attachment on the side for spot cleaning. It’s better for large areas of carpet plus it keeps the water hot whereas the little one didn’t.
