I think I have found the dress I want to buy, but I am worried it will be too modern for my church and the vintage classic cars.
My wedding is in the vineyards…the ceremony at a old church…and the cars we are using are old vintage classic cars…but the dress I have fallen in love withn is modern! Will they clash?

You can wear any dress, anywhere. Matching the dress to the cars is taking it a bit too far.

I think it’ll work. Maybe do a softer, less formal hairstyle than the one in the dress pic, and vintage accessories.

That dress would definitely work with art deco era accessories, which would fit well with the cars.

Wear whatever you feel gorgeous in. It’ll look great no matter what your venue looks like.

Actually I think your dress is more classic than modern. It definitely fits!

oooh I likeee! I suggest a more vintage hairstyle to tie your look into the theme 🙂

I think the crumb catcher fan detail on the top is sorta vintage inspired actually. I agree with the PP’s that maybe with a soft hairstyle, maybe even wearing your hair down with a long veil would be perfect for an old-style wedding.

That juxtaposition (sp?) between the old and the new is what will make the wedding interesting. And, I think it will make it more timeless: ‘old’ venue, ‘new’ dress.’
