You are looking for a halo with no airline then. There are lots of those out there as lots of people do not like airline. You can also look at a “hidden/blooming halo”, Tacori has some of these. The halo sits more “under” the stone so there is no space though this means the stone sits higher. You can also have many people custom make rings to have no airline. Are you opposed to a thin bezel, even a milgrain bezel, in between? This will mean no space either.

It is always hard to tell by stock pictures as they often seem to show more metal as they are SO huge (the metal is never that obvious IRL) and sometimes are computer renderings or altered, but you may be best looking at going handmade, like with Leon Mege, Steven Kirsch, Victor Canera. Handmade settings usually allow for less metal showing, but I don’t know what your budget is, handmade, and these designers, are all a bit pricey.

A lot of Pricescopers have rings by these designers so you can look at a few examples over there.

@mixtapehearts:  Mine doesn’t have a gap at all. It’s a swirly ring that hugs the center stone. My camera phone sucks, but I thought I would take some creative pictures.

There are alot of halos out there that dont show the gaps in person but I find in pics you can really see it…

I don’t see a gap in mine IRL. Maybe it appears more like this in the photos (like gelamac said) ?

I second the tacori suggestion, here are just a few 🙂  I actually have never really been a huge fan of halos but some of these make me want to change my mind!

@Dell79:  see i have seen rings like yours in person and i didnt see any gap it just looked like a big sparklin rock but in the pic you can make out each diamond and the gold that holds it all together…pics are good at showing detail but in person is much much better

Why dont you go a custom route? I did and there is no gap in between my center stone and halo and I dont feel like you can see any metal unless I take my ring off my finger. By The Way my center stone is an oval.
