I’ve been trolling the wedding bee boards for a while now. I’ve done my homework about the kind of Engagment ring I want, and I am pretty sure I am going to go with a diamond alternative. A few people have posted some great photos – and a few have said that they have an oval Amora ( instead of a regular or FB moissanite ). These posts are always from a few years ago but when I go to find an oval amora gem, I turn up nothing!!
Does anyone know if they still exist? Or where I can get them? I’m looking for a 8 X 6 oval.
Any help would be amazing!

Well, the short answer is no, there is no such thing as an Amora Gem in an oval cut.
I don’t think there were even any oval moissanite stones that went through the amora-ization process (a permanent treatment used to break broken atomic bongs that makes the stones whiter).
Are you thinking or looking at Asha oval stones, the CZ ones? Those exist, though they may have been discontinued.

underthestars99: Amora Gem is limited in cuts right now. They have rounds, old european cut, cushion, asscher, krupps (emerald cut) and the princess cut. Amora Moissanite is only available in rounds and cushions. However, I’ve seen many Forever Brilliant Ovals and they are stunning. I don’t see much color in them at all!
Here’s a link to the loose Forever Brilliant ovals that can be purchased, and there’s a video of them as well. http://www.moissaniteco.com/forever_brilliant_loose_stones.html
