KatiePi :  Have you thought about teaching at a university instead? You’d have more autonomy, a bit more student motivation, and no parents to deal with at all.

chigirl217bride :  I’d love to talk with you via PM about your work! As a soon to be graduate( December) with an Advertising and Public Relations degree,  I have fallen in love with copy writing. There’s very few bee’s with that position, and I’d love to chat with you about your current and past experiences, if you’re willing! 🙂

Sometimes i love my job…. and then sometimes i want to kill everyone around me…..

ha. but really, its a love/hate relationship, i work in a tough field that most people dont see as a career. (culinary)

its a hard decision though, ive been in kitchens where i wasnt gaining any knowledge and there was no room for promotion, but i LOVED the people i worked around so it kinda made up for it for awhile.

but then i left for something more challenging that had more oppurtunity to grow, i hated it at first, but now i truly do love the craziness.

my husbands on the fence now a days, he makes GREAT money, but its become mundane for him and he is just waiting for an opening to become a store manager at a bigger chain. He doesnt hate it per say, but he finds the work boring now that he’s been there for so long.

BookishBee :  Yes! I teach juniors and seniors and know I could never go below those grades in public school now! The issue is my Master’s is in Education and those instructor positions are more challenging to come by. I would consider another Master’s in English or a Ph.D. in either Curriculum and Instruction or English (I’d love to teach teachers how to teach) when my son is a bit older and Darling Husband is done with his degree. Whenever I get a parent email that blows, I think about how great working with college students would be.

Super love my job! Dental hygienist, and I’ve wanted to be in denstistry since I was about 5, got side tracked along the way, but I couldn’t be happier with what I do every day. I got really, really lucky, and I won’t deny that fact – great boss, overall wonderful coworkers, and a fantatic patient base.  Yeah, there are long days, hard days, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. 🙂

On some days I love some parts of my job… Other days I want to strangle people. Or curl up in a ball under my desk.
