I did do that once, but I felt weird (looking “married” when I wasn’t). Afterwards, I just used one of those temporary ring sizers, and it worked great. My jeweler also recommended using a rubber band.

I think they look really cute/good together and if it works then it’s a smart, easy and practical solution!

@les105:  Oh, that’s true about the looking married thing, didn’t think about that.

@UmakeURownLUCK:  I wouldn’t recommend sterling silver in the water, specially pool or sea water, it might stain your fingers or your e-ring.

It looks great actually, they look like wedding bands but whatever the rings are very pretty and go great with your ring.

PS: I’d go with the two rings one on each side cause it looks more simmetrical and I have OCD, but that’s just me.

Maybe you could pick up a pack of ring snugs from the store, and use them when your ring is feeling loose.

@UmakeURownLUCK:  I would never judge anyone for doing it, I think it’s an ingenius idea (obviously, I tried it myself ๐Ÿ˜‰ ), just sharing that I felt weird when I was out in public. Rock it if you won’t be bothered, the bands look really pretty!

Haha I would never wear my ring in Vegas; how am I going to lure unsuspecting guys into buying me free drinks if I have giant neon “taken” sign on my hand ๐Ÿ™‚ Not to mention the whole getting wasted and losing stuff thing, not that I would ever do that …

That said, if it’s important to you, why not get a stunt double online?

@SFrunner:  lol, I wouldn’t worry about that. Tons of guys bought me & my married girlfriends drinks at my bach (and they have huge rocks). I was shocked, but apparently it happens!!

Or you could put it on a necklace chain and wear it around your neck?
