    I think it means something like, “Darling Husband” but right before that I always think, “Dumb Ho”

    Just like STD “Save the Dates”  well, we all know what THAT stands for in non wedding land!

    @OoOTifsterOoO:  I *hate* those terms. It doesn’t necessarily make me think of baseball, but I can’t stand it. Darling Husband, Dirty Delete, DS, whatever… I would never refer to my future husband as “dear” or “darling” anyways. Ugh – didn’t realize I needed to rant about that till you brought it up. It bugs me almost as much as stick figure car stickers Tongue Out

    Nope but I always read Bridesmaid or Best Man as “bowel movement”, STD as “sexually transmitted disease” (obviously), and I tend to omit the “I” in Future Mother-In-Law so it’s just FML ot “F**k my life”  -_- lol But I’m surprised I didn’t change Darling Husband to designated hitter because I played baseball like 10 years… haha. I’m sure I will now though!

    @yanamari:  This, to all of your examples. Especially Bridesmaid or Best Man. I can’t even bring myself to use that one. STD bugs me too.

    @yanamari:  Haha I refuse to use “STD” for Save the Dates. I always type “STD” and then I’m like “Hell no! That just looks stupid” *backspace*write out the words*

    @littlemisst08:

    Me neither! Haha. I can’t believe it’s used sometimes. It’s not that long to spell out! I don’t think I’ve used any of the acronyms, unless it was in a poll for the limited space issue.

    Everytime I see “DH” I always read “DUH” in my mind. Which is why I just write “Husband” lol. Otherwise I read it as “My duh”.

    @yanamari:  I also see Future Mother-In-Law as FML.

    @yanamari:  I like Fiance only because it’s annoying to type fiancé with the little accent mark everytime 😛

    I always used to type out the words and I still do it the odd time, but seeing the abbreviations on here so often has converted me. Although there are still some I don’t know… BFP? I think that one is in post titles and I think it has something to do with a positive pregnancy test.
