Don’t feel guilty! DD was planned but pregnancy was literally the worst thing ever – and mine was relatively complication-free!
I felt like I had a nine month long illness. By the time the six-month-long stomach flu-like symptoms abated, I was getting huge and having physical problems!
Whenever women told me that they loved being pregnant I had to fight the urge to slap them, haha!

I agree! I don’t get it but whatever.

Ooh, ooh, me! Middle of the 8th week after 2+ years of trying with no success, so half the time I am an anxious wreck about whether this pregnancy is going to stick and the other half of the time I’m throwing up, involuntarily napping, or so hungry despite every single food seeming unappetizing. I feel so strange all the time, very sick and incredibly tired. I’m worried because I have a high-stress job where we’re expected to be “on” all the time while there (and in business-formal which is already not looking great…), and I’m the one sitting in the back of the meeting chain-eating bags of pretzels and trying desperately to stay awake while hoping no one notices that I’m quickly turning into a human potato.

Yep definitely there with you! Between the nausea/ vomiting, bloating, bladder capacity shrinkage, inability to sleep properly, food restrictions, etc … I don’t know why people love it so much. I’m super jealous of mammals like mice who have a gestation period of under a month 😛
I’m one day past due (her due date was yesterday) and if one more person tells me to “just enjoy the last moments of pregnancy, she will come when she comes” I will slap them. This kiddo needs to get out!

There isnt anything that sounds enjoyable about the end of pregnancy. Best wishes for labor & delivery & keep us posted.

You are funny. I hope you feel better soon and don’t feel bad for a minute sitting in the back of the meeting chain eating bags of pretzels. 🙂

Didn’t read through the entire thread, but don’t feel guilty. It took 1 year + for both of my pregnancies and both were eventually conceived through IUI. I HATE BEING PREGNANT. Hate, hate, hate. I can’t emphasize it enough. And with that, I love my kids immensely even though I hated everything about being pregnant with them. So don’t feel bad and best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
