I noticed that every single time I step out of the shower, I dread having to do anything. I am so relaxed and just want to lounge out! I don’t even care to get dressed. Lazzzyyy!! Sometimes, during the summer, I will lounge out around the house in just a towel until I feel up to getting dressed. That is if no one else but J is around.
What about you?

Absolutely. That’s why I shower right before or pretty close to going to bed. It relaxes me and puts me in sleepy mode. I could NEVER shower first thing in the morning or I’d end up right back in bed!

I’m the exact opposite. A shower wakes me up which is why now I’m more of a morning shower person than evening.

Um, I’m weird. lol. I work from home which means I don’t really have to get up and be anywhere in the morning. So I generally shower at some random point during the day– and most typically right before I need to be somewhere. So I guess I’m usually feeling rushed when I get out of the shower? Because if I have a meeting at 3pm I’ll wait to hop into the shower until like 2. And then I only have an hour to get showered, ready, and to wherever I need to be.

I’m the opposite. A shower is invigorating. It wakes me right up! I take one first thing in the morning and between that and a cup or two of coffee, I’m ready to go!

I haaaate showering/bathing in general! I do it everyday though so I’m not a gross slob. It just keeps me from all of the other stuff I’d rather do and it takes so freaking long to get back to normal again (i.e. dry hair and get dressed).

Showers are super relaxing to me.
I love taking a nice hot shower right before bed.
I’m all groggy this morning though because my alarm didn’t go off and the apartment was really hot last night so I had to shower this am (didn’t want to go to work all sweaty), so I had to take a rushed shower and then run out the door.
My body was so confused because it wanted to go back to sleep!

@LaurenK0105: I understand what you mean. I hate the post shower. My hair is absolutely horrible because it’s naturally wavy/curly. I never know what to do with it.

I could fall asleep in the shower if I showered in the morning. The hot water would seriously just make me not want to move.

Since I work from home most days I don’t shower until later in the day. Like 11am lol (yeah, I’m one of those…) I find that before I shower all I do is surf weddingbee and see what else is going on. Once I shower I get motivated to actually do work! 🙂

@LaurenK0105: I’m the same way!
@CorgiTales: This happens to me all the time too. I go to the gym first thing in the morning so lately I’ve just been hoping in as soon as I get home so I don’t smell myself, but if I don’t go I’ll put it off as long as possible.

I didn’t vote because if I shower in the morning (which really never happens) then I’m awake. If I shower at night, then I’m relaxed.
And I alwaaaays lay around in a towel until I’m dry. I hate towel drying, so I just air dry 😛

A shower can be both invigorating and relaxing. After a long hard day, a hot shower relaxes me, but when I wake up in the morning and I’m groggy it wakes me up.

It depends. In the morning it helps me to wake up but on the weekends I just want to sit around afterwards!
