I swear, I’ve been on the hunt for new some new bras since before the holidays. I must have bought at least 8 that are completely worthless!
Call me crazy, but seriously, if I’m going to drop some good $ on something I have to wear daily, it better be the most comfortable thing around. Every time I think I have one I like, I find a little spot that rubs, or something itchy in it….grrrr!!! I haven’t shopped for new bras in a really long time because when I found ones I liked the last time I bought 10 of them in all different colors to last me. But, they’re finally giving out on me & I need some new ones BAD!!!!!

Whenever I find one I like, I go back and buy like 5 more, because it seems like they change the stupid styles every six months, and if you like it now, it’s almost guaranteed that it won’t exist later.

uggh, I hate buying them too. They’re so expensive, and even the good ones wear out so fast :(.

I’m obsessed with the Biofit Demi from VS – I have it in about 6 different colors, and I get a new one every time I get one of those $10 off coupons in the mail from VS!

Me too! They are so freaking expensive and they never fit!
When I finally found one that actually fit, was comfortable and not granny bras I kept buying them. Then one day discovered they are gone. 🙁
Back to square one.

Yes I hate buying them soo much! Its really hard to buy bras when you are flat chested! No bras fit correctly 🙁 Darling Husband just gave me a gift certificate to VS for Valentines Day so I am going to buy some new ones soon but not looking forward to it!

@7SEVENJ9: ………I want $10 off coupons in the mail. How’d you sign up for that!?

I hate it. Hate. It. All the 34Bs tend to have WAY too much padding, which I don’t enjoy or need. Ugh…and then the ones that don’t tend to lack underwire or structure so I feel like I’m flying all over the place.

I think you just gotta find a brand that works for you. I was buying expensive victoria secrets and wonderbras.. but then I found the best most comfortable bra ever and its by Vassarette which is half the price of my regular bras and is a seamless gel push up bra… its really THE best

If you go sign up for the email list on http://www.victoriassecret.com they send them to you there, or if you order anything on the website and have it delivered to your house, they send coupons in the mail too!

Bra shopping is worse than jeans shopping!! I loathe bra shopping with the passion of a 1,000 firey suns (or however that saying goes). I’m a 34D but I have a full cup and by the end of the day it makes me hate my bewbs so so much. It’s such an expensive pain in the arse, and it HURTS.
It’s nice to see other women do what I do. My old style was discontinued (plus I lost weight) so I am slowly restocking with a Bali Concealers style that it took me 6 hours of not fun bra shopping to find.
Men have it so much easier, and I don’t think they actually realize in how many ways.

It’s not really that irritating to me. I generally try on bras before I buy them, no matter where I buy them, so I make sure they fit and feel comfortable.
It also probably helps that I only bra shop once a year and usually when I do, I buy up to 10 at a time. I also hand wash my bras so that they last longer.

My boobs recently decided to grow, so I went from 32dd to 34ddd in about a month. I haven’t found a great brand yet. In the old days, I wore bali concealers.

No, I don’t hate bra shopping. I used to work in the Intimates department of a local department store, so I am pretty familiar with the styles. Plus, I had a good relationship with the vendors. I love Barely There bras. The wirefree concealers bra (style 4584) is my favorite, because I can wear it under my work shirt and not have show-through. It’s fairly reasonably priced, and I always wait for a good sale. Right now I have one black one and four or five in taupe.
I do understand what you’re talking about as far as discontinuing styles, though! Playtex had a bra that was PERFECT for offering support to older ladies with “sagging problems”. I introduced several ladies to that bra who were so thrilled to find one that fit and offered support, and then they discontinued the style! 🙁
I like Jockey underwear, but I won’t wear their bras because they (all the ones I’ve tried, at least) have this mesh stuff along the sides that becomes insanely itchy as the day goes on!

@helenberrycrunch: Are Bali Concealers no longer comfortable for you to wear? Because I know they make those styles in 34DDD.
