Yes, this is an odd post but I’m just curious if I’m alone out there.
I have a cousin who is old enough to be my mother and she is constantly “Liking”, commenting on my statues or commenting on pictures. This is to the point where its starting to creep me out because I will post something and litterally 1 minute later shes got something to say. Its almost like shes waiting for me to write something.
Is there anyone who Facebook stalks you? Are YOU a Facebook stalker? lol

There is a guy on mine that is a total creeper. I should block him, but I can’t bring myself to do it. He is 5 years older than me, and tries to chat with me every single time I log on. He is weird as hell, and his sentances don’t even make sense. That’s it, LOL, I am blocking him today!

My great aunt is the same way. I’ve met her once in my life and she commented/liked everything until they made it where you can only broadcast out stuff to certain groups of people. I definitely don’t include her in my updates anymore. I miss when FB was more limited!

..No…..but I wish I did hahahaha…no one finds me terribly fascinating unfortunately! lol Maybe she has Facebook on her phone and is constantly receiving updates?

I don’t have a stalker that I know of… but I think one or two people stalk my page all the time… quite creepy. Do you think it’s true… if their picture is constantly showing up on your page in the friends area, they are always on it? Most say it’s random of who pops up… but I have a couple hundred friends and this person always shows up, but never posts anything.

Eugh me too. I had an old coworker who would constantly comment and like everything on my facebook, often writing very inappropriate/awkard things. I finally had to put her on limited profile, and of COURSE she noticed right away and sent nasty messages to all of my emails (including my work email) AND my facebook. So I deleted her and blocked her.

I have one “friend” that I went to kindergarten/grade 1 with. When she asked to be friends I had to call another friend and ask who she was and if she was the “girl who smelled like pee” (can you imagine that that’s how people remember you?!). And yes she was. And now she constantly likes and comments on my photos and status, which is fine, whatever. But about a year or so ago, she sent me a message asking if I wanted to go to the Bahamas with her. Ummm what?! I haven’t seen you in 25 years, and yes, absolutely girl who smells like pee, let’s go to the Bahamas! That’s not creepy at all! I feel sort of bad for her, I always see her asking other elementary school friends about getting together and no one really answers…

I would bet that your cousin is online 98% of the time she is awake and does the same thing to everyone. Can you say Loser?
@bakerella: Aww. That makes me feel kind of bad for her. But definitely you’d be crazy to go on a trip with her, yikes!
@julies1949: Kinda harsh, don’t you think? I think for some people, Facebook is almost like a hobby. Would you say that someone who posts frequently on the weddingbee boards is a loser?

@Linz1231: LOL! I had a guy who was my best friends ex who would constantly do stuff like that to me too! Total creeper! I felt bad because he had told me he wsa diagnosed with lung cancer and then I found out it was a bunch of crap. Needless to say hes deleted and blocked. Oh burn! haha
@crayfish: I’ve thought about blocking her from just seeing my stuff but I know that she will notice and I’m afraid she might call me out on it. =/ Shes considard one of the “crazies” in the family so I really don’t want to get on her bad side. lol
@babybluz: You just can’t win! I feel ya… I’m afraid of somewhat of the same thing happening to me too. =(
@bakerella: LOL!! I would hate to be rememberd as that! Although, I’ve never been to the Bahamas. I might just be THAT desperate to go with a total creeper who smells like pee. I’m sad…I know! haha!

I have noticed this with several older relatives – my thinking is that they don’t really “understand” Facebook and use it differently than young people do. They are friends with their relatives and coworkers, not every single person they met at a party once, and they might even think it’s rude not to comment on the things that you post. Just my thinking.

@Bubu82: Ya she’s a bit socially awkward I think… I’m okay with being FB friends but we’re not going on any Caribbean vacation together, that’s for sure! One of my friends suggested maybe this girl had a crush on me and wanted to have a romantic getaway with me, but that seems a bit far fetched, although a bit funny 😉

YES. I deleted my facebook for several months because ALL of my family was on there and commenting constantly. They’d even call my mom (who is my facebook friend) and ask her if she’d heard about something I’d posted. I finally grew a backbone and deleted and blocked the vast majority of my family members.
Facebook is a wonderful communcation tool but it only shows you a snippet of someone’s life. Statuses are even small snippets of the person’s thoughts/feelings. They were taking a status that was taken from a popular song and telling my mom they thought I was pregnant!
It just got way out of hand.

My stepmother. She “likes” everything, and has a habit of commenting in baby talk to me and my siblings pictures/posts (on their kids, and my cats). She’s that way in real life, too…I love her, she’s been part of my family for 16 years, but most of the time talking to her makes me want to pull my hair out. I made the mistake of accepting her friend request, and she’d be heartbroken if I deleted her.
