LOL no, but my one kitten didn’t like his name for some reason. He’d get mad if you were holding him and say it – he’d claw to get away. I finally figured out he likes to be addressed as “Kitten.” We’ve been saying it in combination with his name, and he is relaxing about his real name now, but I definitely call him “Kitten” a lot more.

haha yes! My kitten is officially named Hector. He also goes by doodle-bop, kitten-bop, and inspector hector (because he like to sit there when you are doing something improtant and watch you).

recently I’ve been calling him kitten pants.

I think I only call him Hector when he’s being naughty.

My parents named their puppy Dixie and that instantly became Dixter, Dixie Doodle, Doodlebug, and just plain Doodle. She knows her real name, though, it’s what they use to call her when she’s outside, and she knows she gets a kibble for coming when she’s called, lol.

I’m sure my pups are just as confused. Teddy is always called fluffer and Pandy is always called bug. We are just lucky if they know who we are referring to in general.
