I used to have that problem until I got my new set with euro shanks.  They still rotate sometimes,  like after I wash my hands and water gets under the ring,  but it helped tremendously.  Very comfortable too!

I have this problem too. I think I’m actually a 4.75, but the sales lady said I should do size 5 in case my fingers swell. When I’m warm it fits fine, but sometimes after I wash my hands my ring will feel loose. I really don’t want to take it back to get it resized. My ring has a warranty on it, so I can’t take it anywhere else to get it resized, and since we bought it from one of those chain stores, it will take about a week or more to get it done. I don’t think I can be without it for that long. Haha.

My e-ring used to rotate a lot, but now that I also wear my wedding band, it stays in place better.

My ring does this also. But in the summer my fingers puff up and it doesn’t fall to the side as much.

Originally, my ring was a size 7 but was sized down to 6.5 (my actual size). Shortly afterwards, a small stone fell out from the halo. We got this fixed…but a few months later, another small stone fell out. We later found out that sizing the ring down from a 7 to 6.5 caused some of the stones to become loose. The jeweler eventually had to make a completely new ring in the correct size (same ring style, but no loose stones). After getting the new ring we never had another stone fall out again but I was ring-less for almost 2 months until my new ring was ready.

Because of this, we decided not to size down again.

I have this problem with my rhr, but it’s a half size too big. My ering sits fine unless I’ve just been in water or something, but I was professionally sized for that one. Your ring could just be a half size too big.

Mine slips when I’m cold and gets stuck on if I’m hot.  Fits perfectly only if I’m just comfortable.  I can’t even wear them when I’m out hiking or something, but if I got it bigger, I’d lose them immediately in the winter.  Oh well.

Mine is so big it does just swing to the side but all the way around!!! Definitely a problem for me!!! My ering is so big that I wore it on my middle finger most of our engagement due to being afraid it was going to fly off my ring finger!!! I tried wearing the plastic spacers but they caused blisters. Lets just say my husband was happy to get married so now I can keep in on the correct finger with my wedding band. I am not sure what size my ering actually is. My husband thought it was going to be too small, had it sized up, proposed and we realized it was too big. We just haven’t gotten it sized yet. Slipping to the side isn’t too bad for me, but slipping all the way around gets annoying. I’ll get it fixed up one of these days.

tessadub:  YES. I have this problem. I too have been debating whether or not I should get mine resized, but then, I don’t want them to not fit me someday if I gain weight, or for them to end up a little too tight in the warmer months. I just don’t know! lol But mine also fit better when it’s humid out. I just hate the feel of them constantly going off to the side..
