tessadub:  if you’re right handed, your right is probably slightly bigger than your left. That’s how it is for most people (except me, I’m right-handed and my right is about a 1/2 size smaller than my left). But yes, they are not the same for most people.

tessadub:  I bought snuggies a couple weeks ago. I found them horribly uncomfortable, they make my rings unbearable to wear. ๐Ÿ™ That’s why im going try the fishing line trick!

tessadub:  awesome glad to help! The ones i had before (and linked) were so chunky people actually DID notice them even though they are on the underside…plus they popped off from time to time and that was pretty noticeable too haha. maybe it’s cuz my fingers are so small? Anyway the pic another girl posted looks a lot less obtrusive and much nicer than the ones I had. I’m going to look into that spiral kind ๐Ÿ™‚

By The Way I was quoted like 150 bucks to add those little balls…so not too bad. I just haven’t been able to part with the ring for the week or so needed to add them ๐Ÿ™‚

My solitare rotates nbecause it is top heavy and I have only had adjustable rings that do not move.  When I was being sized the Jeweler said hat I needed a 1/4-1/2 size larger but I insisted on my 7.5 and I am glad I did.  In the morning it does feel a bit snug but it is still not uncomfortable.  Throughout the day it is very comfortable and I never worry about it slipping off.  It takes about 5 seconds to pop my ring off if my hand is dry and not swolen. (about 3-4 if wet and soapy)

I can wear my ring about 1/4 inch closer to my knuckle and it stays upright in place and is not tight or anything.  Even wearing the ring closer to my knuckle Im not afraid of it slipping off because it takes a little force to manuver it off my finger.  It works for me when I especially want my ring to stay in place.

Try pushing your ring up 1/4 inch closer to your knuckle. Does that help it stay upright?

tessadub:  i had the same problem. they put these little bumps in the ring to keep it in place and it hasn’t happened since.

tessadub:  Haha. My Fiance said maybe we’ll wait until we get our wedding bands to resize the engagement ring. That way I won’t feel so naked for weeks. Just for laughs I drew him a picture to illustrate what I feel like with and without the ring:

Yup I have this problem! at my current size my rings wings on on my finger, sometimes even upside down. However if I make it smaller it won’t fit through my knuckle!

tessadub:  I too have this issue. In the winter my engagement ring will easily swing to my palm side due to it being top heavy and having a slim shank. It doesn’t bother me. Since getting married I wear my engagement ring on my left hand and it fits more snug. My right hand ring finger is definitely larger as it’s my dominant hand – this is completely normal. It looks like there are a lot of us in the same boat!

i have this issue, it has been resized 3 times and now i give up and accept it slides to one side.. although sometimes it spins all the way round so it looks like im wearing a plain band haha! I would like it to be tighter but then i wonder if thats just because its winter and i really feel the cold. Hoping when the weather gets warmer it will be a better fit, cant bare to part with it again!!

tessadub:  My ring does this all winter and/or when my hands are cold. I don’t want to get the size changed because in the summer my hands swell from heat and the ring fits perfectly. I heard you can buy this rubber piece that goes on the back of your ring to make it fit nice without having to get it sized.

michelle0919: Have you ever noticed it looks like he’s wearing a sparkly crown? That’s a cool picture!
