My weakness is shopping online for dresses that are on sale..I have a storage bin full the max is $30.00 the cheapest was $17.00. Once in a while I will spend $50-$60 but that is so rare. I do have my eye on a leather dress that is $259.00, and I have been waiting to see when it is going to go on sale I hope it does because it is so unique.

I am trying to not shop right now because I have so much to do.

Shopping sprees for me means going to the normal rack at Cato or Pennys instead of the $5 and under or Walmart. Yay saving for grad school and a house.

@anon00:  Right???? I never notice a girls pants, only if they fit right and make her butt look good but for me jeans are just jeans. Bras and sexy undies are just yummy and they make you feel so pretty inside! Like you have this awesome secret that nobody else knows that makes it extra extra special! I have like 15 but only wear like 7 that fit really really well, they are starting to get very worn so I need to find new ones!

I feel guilty spending money, unless I can logically justify the purchase to myself. I’m not one of those “shopping is therapeutic” people.

However, sometimes there’s a bunch of good deals and I spend a lot at once. I’ll usually have to go over how each item was worth the money in my head several times afterward. However, it doesn’t stop me from buying, just because I’ve already spent a lot that day. I know that sometimes when it rains (worthwhile deals), it pours.

I used to! Now that I’m saving for quitting when I get pregnant, I don’t spend a cent!

I used to shop much more than I do now, and buy lots of inexpensive clothes. Now, I’m much more likely to buy just a few pieces, but spend more and wear them for a long, long time. All the drawers full of unworn clothes started to just feel like they were weighing me down.

I also recently read this book, and it really clicked for me.

@anon00:  I know it is a weakness…hahaha I need to get help for it. Most of the dresses are on clearance.

I love shoes too and I have receive such a beautiful pair of Vince Camuto’s suede peep toes that I had my eyes on…My daughter brought them for me as a gift.

We live in the city and if we were to go in the department stores what we buy would be 5xs more. So that is why we shop online we get a better deal.

Dresses are the main staple in my wardrobe I wear one everyday they are so easy I dont have to try to find pieces everything is complete just add tights and heels and go.

I do this all the time! Seems almost like it’s a hormonal thing for me. I usually get a ton from Target.com and return like half of it :/

Yes!  I used to be super frugal and not really buy anything clothes unless it was a super good deal.  I don’t shop that often now, so in the interest of time, if I do and see something I really like, which is not often, I usually just buy it, especially since I wear my clothes for so long.  Most my closet is at least 5 years old, so its time for new stuff!  I shop a lot online too, but I always return what I dont like.  My weakness is jeans.
