I have been doing it the past few months as well. I really love it. It seems like it always shows up when I’m having a bad day and need a boost too!!

The only thing I’ve gotten that I really wasn’t a fan of as the color club polish because it was really chippy for me. But the other things have been great!

@Linz1231:  I wish I could get them!  I’ve been on a waiting list for a couple months now.  Are they short on supplies or something?  I love the idea just wish I could try it.lol

I just signed up on the waiting list last week.  I’ve been hearing the wait is extremely long now 🙁

Did you guys sign up on the site or use an invite?

I used an invite and it only took about two weeks. This was 3 months ago. I don’t know if that helps or not?

Anyhow, here is my invite link if you wanna try that: https://www.birchbox.com?raf=2bmwm

Full disclosure that I do get points when I refer people.

But I was just wondering if how you got the site made a difference since when I used the invite link it only took like two weeks?  Anyhow, YMMV and try it if you wish!

@MrsDulce:  I clicked the link but it just took me to the Birchbox site, I couldn’t find anything that said it was a referral.  Do I just sign up like normal after clicking that link?

I have a subscription. I like it in theory…I think opening it up is my favorite part. A lot of times I’m not really blown away with the contents. I’m not really a super girly girl, but thought it might help me to get samples of things that might really be awesome…so far I haven’t had anything that I actually would buy full-sized. They sent me a bronzer this month which seemed nice, but my skin type is not one that really matches with bronzing. I like the perfume samples and the nail polishes best…I do actually use those.

@Linz1231:  Yes, I did. It’s a bummer because I’ll never use it. I tried just a little and it looks ridic. I think you have to have skin that would actually bronze in real life to pull it off. Ha.

I let mine expire.  I got tired of being sent things like weird beaded bracelets and laundry detergent.. it’s supposed to be makeup!  also, they sent me a lot of perfume samples & i dislike most perfume, so that wasn’t that great.

I love my Birchbox. I also have Beauty Army. The difference with Beauty Army is that you can pick your own products off of a list, you can also choose to skip a month if you aren’t into anything on the list. But I think I like Birchbox more because of the surprise element of it.

Birchbox was the first sample subscription I heard about.  A little Googling and found there are tons of these things.  This list is from one blog posting (http://mrskbj.blogspot.com/2012/02/monthly-makeup-sample-box-subscription.html)
