Just wondering if there are any other bees who don’t wear their e-ring every day? I just got a new stone put into mine, and it’s beautiful, but annoying. I just hate wearing jewelry, especially rings. Darling Husband doesn’t mind, it’s not like we’re not married or don’t love each other. He wears his every day, but our love is in our hearts, not on our fingers. Right? 🙂
Any other bees take a break from their rings once in a while?

@QueenOfSerendip: It would be fun to add a poll. I happen to wear mine daily with the exception of those days that my hands swell beyond belief, but mostly I always keep mine on.

Right now I like to wear mine every day because we’re not married yet so I have no wedding band, but I’ve already had times when I wished I could just wear a wedding band.
I’m planning to wear my engagement ring along with my wedding band after marriage, but not all the time. I think there’s a lot to be said for the benefits of a simple, solid gold band.

@QueenOfSerendip: I would feel really strange without my ring on. It just feels like a part of my finger and it doesn’t bother me to wear at all. Having said that, I will admit I do hate jewellery. I only wear what Fiance has given me. If I am not in a relationship, I have no jewellery on ever. If I am, then I’m wearing what he gave me only 😛
So, no, I never take it off and I think Fiance would be annoyed if I did.

I wear mine whenever I leave the house. But if I’m at home doing laundry, gardening, etc., then I don’t put my rings on. I’m too afraid that I will lose one (it’s happened before, and I nearly had a heart attack while frantically searching the house).

I love wearing my e-ring! But I’m learning that it’s probably not best to wear it allll the time. The day after I got it I wore it kayaking and we found a little island and I climbed a tree and now it’s all scratched. I’ve worn it out dancing, and hiking, and more, and honestly, I’m starting to realize that it’s not really the right thing to do with a big old diamond. I still wear it when I shouldn’t, but I’ve got a dummy ring now for things like moving boxes and cleaning and social dancing. I should probably try and protect it a little? Lol.

I wear mine every day. I would feel REALLY weird not having it on.
I am a jewelry person though and have always worn rings and necklaces.

I fall in the “no” group. Whenever I need to take it off, I take it off. Like gardening, or doing activities that require my hands to fit in tight spaces or nasty substances. Otherwise, I don’t mind it at all. My desk job pretty much has me doing minor to no labor intensive activities and at home I rarely have to do stuff that really requires my hands be jewelry free.
@QueenOfSerendip: May I ask why you find it annoying? Is it just the feel of it? Because I know it takes time to get used to it! I went through that phase haha.

There are plenty of days I don’t put it on until the end of the day or if I’m going somewhere. Then there are times I just don’t always think about it and forget it until I take a shower or something. I do feel odd if it’s not on my finger…likely because I always play with it. And if I look down and don’t see it, I feel like something is missing. Fiance is never annoyed if I don’t have it on (or he doesn’t say anything) but I’m sure if I went days and weeks without it, he would wonder. I can’t wait to get my bands so I can wear them because some days I just wish I had them.

I only wear mine when I am leaving the house. So if I’m at home it stays in the box it came in.

I soldered my rings together so I wear them every day. I don’t wear them 24/7 though.

Mine are still really tight after having a baby, and I work in a lab so I only wear them when I go out. It takes cold water & soap to get them off at the end of the night 🙁 I decided I would give myself 6 months and if they are still tight I’ll resize them. I don’t wear them at work anyway since I’m in and out of gloves all day though.
