As I lay in bed right now, I’m surrounded by my babies. I have the one cat on my pillow (yes, I have to share my pillow with him), another cat on my right side, and two chihuahuas on my left side. I try to sleep around them without moving them. Am I the only person that does this or are there some other crazy people out there like me? 🙂 I have to admit my fiancé is guilty of it too. If the cat is sleeping by his feet, he won’t move him, he will sleep around him trying not to disturb the cat.

I totally do this with my cat! But it’s only him. I can’t imagine sharing my bed with four!! lol

as much as i love dogs, I don’t love them sleeping in the bed. I like to cuddle with them on the couch tho haha, just not a big fan of anything besides me & SO in the bed!! Most people I know sleep with all their babies & def try not to disturb them lol, I think I’m in the minority!

We do this with our dogs, mainly because they are soooo lazy and soooo big. We have a german sheppherd and a black lab so making them get up isn’t the most pleasant option

@MiJeS1104: my 65# dog’s favorite place to sleep is in between my legs. I often end up moving around him so I don’t disturb him. Of course he likes to sleep horizontally. I think to ensure maximum discomfort for me!

@MiJeS1104: My lab sleeps with me almost every night! But away from school I don’t share a bed with FI, so it’s fine. We wouldn’t be able to fit all 3 of us in one bed, haha

Our dog sleeps comfy in her crate without anyone to bug her, but we sleep with our cats on the bed 🙂 One will go from spooned against my left side, to in between my knees under the covers, to on my head or chest. The other will sleep in our dogs deep dish bed, or more likely by my feet or on my chest with his nose centimeters from mine lol.

Our queen size bed is too small for us.
…..because of our dogs…..
I wouldn’t change it at all though. 🙂 It just means some nights I sleep like a contortionist. I am trying to make the new puppy sleep on a bed beside our bed though. We will see how that goes.

I do, DH absolutely could care less, lol. If the pup is in his space, he’ll move him to my side!

Oh man yes! My dogs love to sleep in between us while leaning on our legs and feet. Sometimes they are such bed hogs!

We recently got a new cal king bed (so it’s huge) and we have a 12 ish pound little sweetie, and she will decide to cuddle up right next to one of us (usually me by my legs/feet) so that we can’t move lol. She’s tiny and has a huge bed but she doesn’t want to leave our side!

Nah, our dog sleeps in his crate. It’s not mean or anything, he loves it, he gets so excited every night. We say “go to bed!” and he FLIES in and scooches all the way to the back wagging his tail. It’s like his safe little cozy den.

My dog used to sleep with us all the time, but now that he has gotten a bit less anxious he prefers to sleep apart from us. He actually likes to sleep in the closet which I find hilarious. I like it when he sleeps with me while DH is out of town because I sleep better with another wwarm body in the bed so if he does sleep with me I sleep around Him because I don’t want him to leave! yeah i’m pathetic. If the cats are actually sleeping and not making brats of themselves I will sleep around them too because they are soooo cute when they are sleepy and I can’t bear to wake them.

Also, am I the only one that my babies have trained me to feed them every morning at 5am? One of my cats will get off the bed and start scratching the hamper and meowing, or some days he will just sit next to me and creepily stare at me so I wake up to feed him. So once he gets up, he wakes the dogs up and they of course want to be fed. It’s a ritual every morning, no matter how late I want to sleep in. I’m always up at 5am for them. They have me trained very well 🙂

Definitely! Two dogs, and three cats every night. Well, mostly two cats. Our oldest cat takes over the living room chair at night. He likes his own space! But yea, the fur babies totally own the bed, as far as they’re concerned. lol
