Does Anyone Ever Worry About Being Idenitifed on the Bee?

melihbee :  wasn’t it that she wanted an expensive, specific bachelorette party and she felt her Maid/Matron of Honor was being selfish for offering a cheaper alternative? I think something about using MOH’s parents’ cabin in the mountains when she wanted a destination beach weekend in a party town?

ukbea :  yesyesyes that’s what it was! MOH’s parents had a house or cabin they were gonna let them use for free, but the bride wanted a beach vacation, and didn’t understand why it was not given to her.

And what happened to her guestbook after that was awful.

I’ve posted a LOT of personal stuff over the years and at first I used to worry about people recognizing me.  But no one has (at least no one has said anything to me) so I don’t worry quite as much.  I don’t post any pictures of my face or my husband’s and don’t have a Facebook account anymore so I’m not too concerned of people tracking me down.  I’m sure if someone really wanted to they could.

I’ve posted photos of my ring with my dogs and I’ve also discussed a lot of identifying personal information. Doesn’t bother me too much though, I’m quite honest and open in person so anything I say on here, I wouldn’t mind discussing in person. But I could see why it would bother some people… Reminds me of that thread that got closed where this girl had lied about her ring and was upset with the results of baking her CZ. Apparently (ALLEGEDLY, because I have no idea if this is true) someone found her FB and was posting rude things about her children or something. That would be pretty fucking traumatizing.

I wonder about this because i once found a friend on here! We were talking a few years ago about a certain topic then next day i saw a board created on the bee with exactly the same topic. I went into it and it sounded just like my friend so i went into another post and realised it was definitely her! (We had never discussed the bee at all..)

Nope. My mum hasn’t even got a computer and my sister has zero time for this kind of page. My future in-laws know my ring, of course, but haven’t got pictures. Of course, they’d recognize it but they’d have no reason whatsoever to look for me here. I mean, English isn’t even our language.

I don’t think anyone I know that well actually knows about this board. Also, I don’t post super personal stuff. I post maybe like health stuff, but not more than girl talk.
