@MrsPlaidShirt:  if you are house hunting let me give you some ijnfo…first off if you can stick to the burbs do so! toledo public schools are getting crazy bad! maumee, rossford, perrysburg is where yuiou want to be. rossford, where we live right now, is rated excellent frim the state. im sad bc we are moving in a few months , buying  a   house,  and we have a daughter who will be starting school in a year. we are trying to find somethng in perrysburg so she can get a good education without beingaround ” violence”. if you must zlive in toledo,  i would get in the washington local school district – west toledo area- sylvania schools or ottawa hills (super expensive neighborhood). when i was in h.s, 2006, tps stopped students from being able to transfer to other schools within the district bc of overcrowding. and  the schools are startijng to get rasict…we are hopping to stay ith rossford schools or maumee schools since theyre very small towns.

@VossinatorsButterfly:  Thank you soo much for all the info, I’m a small town girl and would never want to live in a big city! πŸ™‚ And I would love to have my little one grow up in a small town as well and I think just like you say, schools and the surrounding area is so important. My FH is from Northwood, his dad still lives there and his brother and wife live in Point Place. I’ve heard good things about Perrysburg and Rossford as well and started looking there! I’m looking online right now, did you go with the internet or did you have a realtor?

And no problem for the typos, you have the most precious reason to do so! πŸ™‚ And I even have typos without anything:)

@MrsPlaidShirt:  we are lookinbg online for foreclosures bc we are paying cash for our home. theres a few reasonably priced homes in rossford, nothing dirt cheap like some places in toledo. we figured that perryburgwas just too much money unless we bought a modular home there. FIworks in perrysburg and wants to keep his short commute like he has now so we are very limited to where we want to live. if money was no object then we would choose pburg or waterville just because its safer!

@VossinatorsButterfly:  Oh wow, thats awesome that you guys can pay cash for your home! I’m looking on homes.com right now, thats the only site I found so far and I was looking on forrent.com, just in case we can’t find the perfect one right away! It’s a pretty big thing for us too. Do you live in an apartment right now?

@jatelynn:  Haha I feel you! But since all the planning I did so far went down the drain, i kinda lost it too! And yeah the money is just the big thing too…we plan on doing so much this year and so far we stayed with the plan, even with the money, but it’s just so hard! I already started looking for furniture places up in the area, so I have a round about number πŸ™‚ sometimes I just think if I worry too much, but oh well, I guess thats what we do…haha

I know right, you have just 6 month left…how exiting! πŸ™‚

And yay for picking up your dress, thats such a big step! I’m looking for the perfect short fitted white dress for our lil cerememony too…it’s so hard!

@VossinatorsButterfly:  lol…we thought for an apartment 850 max for a 1-2 bedroom, I mean if it’s less that would be perfect! That’s always better, more to safe, hehe. And I’ve seen so many different prices up there, so I really don’t know whats good:) and we have a littte french bulldog! πŸ™‚

One of FH friends is about to move in camelot east…
