I need your help.
I don’t know if I’m the only one who does this, but everytime I go to the shops I have to go and have a look at wedding bands, it makes me excited and i love seeing them shine next to my e-ring.
The only issues are, I don’t have a wedding date, most likely I won’t be going with that jeweller and my Fiance can’t stand it.
If you don’t know your wedding date how do you keep away and do you allow yourself to continually look and try on wedding rings?
The reason I ask is the jeweller I want to use, I want to see the wedder and plain band with my e-ring together, but I have no idea (years at this stage) I will be getting married.
My family friend says I shouldn’t be trying them on. I know and I feel bad but I can’t stop, does anyone have this issue with any rings or e-rings or anything at all.
Also if your jeweller won’t let you take photos what do you do then?

I’m not getting married for at least another 1.5 years and look at/try on bands all the time. I call it research.

Me too! I’ve only been engaged for a couple of weeks and we aren’t getting married for 2 years. I love going to any and all shops to look at rings. Because it’s just a dream and an idea right now, I’m not overthinking or overworking myself. It’s just fun! My thought is, because I have an e-ring the jewelers will let me go in and try on other rings. It’s like it gives me a free pass or something lol

Oh my God! Somebody understands me! I thought everyone would say no that’s bad stop.
I want to go to solid gold in the city and try on a plain wedder and the wedder my Fiance liked on me, so should I or not?
Also, they won’t let me take photos 🙁

Browneyedbelle92: But no buying! Just looking 🙂

I dont have a date set yet but I still look.
I havent found something I like with my ring enough yet to buy so I keep looking. If anyone has an issue with me “just looking right now” then I obviously wouldnt purchase anything from them even if they did have something I liked.
I dont understand why your Fiance would have a problem with it. Unless you’re trying the same thing on over and over

I did. I wasn’t obsessed or anything, but I wondered what would look good with the precious 😉

Does looking at and trying on engagement rings count. I’m obsessed.

Haha I do! Both Fiance and I have tried on wedding rings at a few stores. The most recent time was just a few weeks ago when he tried on the e-ring/other ring he wants to determine size. I liked the normal plain band look with my ring, but I still think the knife edge goes best, since my e-ring is knife edge!

I’m married and I still look at wedding bands, erings etc… No harm in looking =)

Browneyedbelle92: I’ve been married for 16 years, and I still love looking at wedding bands. And engagement rings, too. Both in stores and online. (Hence why I spend so much time hanging out on the ring boards! LOL)
