mccabetobee:  I have a couple of substitute engagement rings. My real one is a morganite and the stone is big. I prefer not to wear it all the time to work because I work with kids. I use a moissanite ring and a small diamond ring as substitutes (sorry, I don’t have pics).

I have a back-up for vacations and when my ring is at the jewelers. Actually I have a couple of back ups… 🙂 They’re just fun! I wore one throughout my honeymoon in the pool and the ocean. It looked like crap afterwards and I was glad it was my backup and not my real one.

I have a back-up rubber ring from SafeRingz for when I’m exercising, swimming, or just doing anything where my rings could get lost or damaged. DH has matching rubber rings, too – he already lost one while on a fishing trip. So glad he remember to wear his rubber ring instead of his real one! I also have a ring with 3 tiny diamonds that DH gave me on our 1st dating anniversary that I use as a stand-in if I ever have to get my ring worked on.

Depending on what I’m wearing, I may use my yellow gold diamond band from time to time.

I also wondered this, I’m just now looking into getting a few backups to rotate when I get a little bored of my Ering

I’m a stock receiver and a painter by trade and I bought a back-up tungsten ring after I knicked my engagement ring at work. I was able to fix it but boy did I cry like a little girl when it happened!

I was engaged with an heirloom saphire ring {currently at the jewelers beng repaired/built up} and for my wedding gift/birthday present he gave me an emerald cut dimond ring.

mccabetobee:

I sorta do. I’ve received a number of anniversary bands during our marriage and I could wear any one of them as a “back up” or “stand in”. I also have several CZ or moissanite rings (as well as gemstone cocktail rings) that could also do the same.

Bling!

mccabetobee:  yep! I got a moissanite ring as a stand in / whenever I feel like ring. I wear it when we go out of town or if I go out with the girls lol.

Left ring is my ering and right ring is my moissanite 💚

mccabetobee:  I wear a cz 3 stone ring from Berricle sometimes to work (at a brewery) or when I think I might be getting particularly dirty (like moving)

I have a moissy and several colored gemstone rings that I can use as stand-ins, I like using them for travel. I have a plain rose gold band for work. I’m expecting a Berricle set to arrive in the mail today, which I intend to wear at work, depending on my mood. I love variety 🙂 DH also has several different wedding bands to choose from. Our originals will always be our favorites, of course!

I was thinkig about doing this! Going on holiday to florida (from UK) and i was worried about my diamond engagement ring. I dont thiiiink it would fall off on a rollercoaster but the pool was what i was concerned about. might get a cheap sparkley band to wear instead. 🙂
