mccabetobee:  I buy all my stand in rings from two birch. They allow you to customize most the rings from Sterling to gold Cz to real diamonds.  They have a lot of options if you are interested.  I have my stand in that I wear at work all the time. I have an even cheaper band from Walmart that I wear to the gym.

I got my stand in a couple weeks ago, though I do think it might need a bit of a resize. It’s an 1.5ct, F coloured, VS1 Amora gem:

She is set in a 14k rose gold with a tulip basket and cathedral. I where her for work and such, also a right hand ring. I kept the design beautiful and to have a bit of detail but simple enough for more wear, the cathedral to protect the detailed basket. My e-ring has a lot of detail on its shank and is a heart diamond, while a smaller stone is more valuable both financially and sentimentally. I would be more gutted if my heart and band on it wore massively or got destroyed than my Amora and would cost more to replace.

mccabetobee:  I am now lol. But I spent a lot of time researching moissanite before I decided to buy it. But I had a jeweler look at it when I was going to get it dipped ams he thought it was a diamond just looking at it. He took a loop out and figured out it was moissanite haha. But at first glance he had no idea. I’ve also had randon people comment on how big my “diamond” is and I normally correct them… Unless they were being snooty, then I just say thank you lol
