Even FB will show warmth. Amora is the only colorless gem I’ve seen. Just enjoy the stone if it doesn’t bother you, it will neve be totally colorless.

wanderbride85 :  F1 and the new H&As are, like Amora Gem, 4H silicon carbide and colourless (D-F). OP has an F1. An FB will of course show a little more as it is near-colourless, not colourless, and is 6H. Which is why OP is asking. You can also get Amora Gems in G/H as some prefer them, so colourless is not a rule.

antoniathegreat :  Moissanites, like diamonds, reflect the light sources around them. Be it warm yelowish sunlight, your skin, hair, clothing. Your stone looks lovely and not yellow at all. F1s are not moody in my experience like classics or FBs.

antoniathegreat :  My F1 will absorb some color in certain lighting I noticed. Not so much so it looks like a deep buttery yellow but a slight cast. I have even seen it absorb the trees outside a few times and it looked so cool. It still has a white vibrancy to it even though it absorbs color at times if that makes sense ๐Ÿ™‚ Other than that is is bright white and colorless in most lighting. So dont worry it is normal!

RayKay :  Duh! I misread, I thought OP has a FB, not a F1.

That looks pretty white to me, although I know sometimes it looks a bit different in person vs in photos. If you are seeing a bit of warmth, it could be the lighting. My F1 is sometimes almost a freakish white but sometimes depending on the light it looks a bit warmer. But not yellowish. What a lovely ring by the way!!

I think your ring is amazing!  Where is the setting from?  I love the petal prongs!

It looks SO much more amazing in that photo than on the website!  Sorry to be such a stalker, but do you have anymore photos of it?  Like from the side/top???

Mine shows warmth. My jeweler said that when moissanite gets warm it turns yellowish also. Its also reflecting my green sweater.

I don’t see any warmth in the pics you’ve posted. In the first one, I do see a little blue, but I think that’s reflecting from your jeans. It’s a beautiful ring. Do you think it could be the rainbow flashes of color you’re seeing?

Looks gorgeous! I wear a diamond on one hand and a moissy on my right. My moissy is grey so I don’t notice yellow though in low light it gives me flashes of gold from the facets!

However my diamond sometimes looks yellow too (G) in color. It too picks up the colors around me. Earlier today it looked pale pink!  I’ve decided looking more and more at pics of moissy that I think the yellow cast especially in profile makes the moissy look more diamond like rather then less. In fact, I’m now scouring the Internet for a yellowish Emerald cut moissanite as I think they look better than Emerald cut diamonds (well and I’d never be able to afford the large one I want in a diamond)

Just my opinion, but I figured it was worth saying that even diamond wearers worry about color a bit!
