I am looooving these dresses! They’re called “bridal alternatives” because they’re really just dresses from the bridesmaid’s line in white (and more expensive – sigh – although they’re all under $1k).
Does anyone have one? Are they good quality? How do they fit?
I have an appointment in a few weeks to try some on but I was curious about what they’re like on real women.

i thought they were all so gorgeous online! there was no where to try them on here though so i passed. I hope you get some comments – i’m curious about the line. If I didn’t get a nicole miller dress, it would have been something from Jenny Yoo!

i’ve worn a jenny yoo bridesmaid dress before (this one: http://jennyyoo.com/chiffon10.html ), and it’s gorgeous and very well made. there were 6 of us bridesmaids, with fairly different body types, and it worked well on all of us, without many alterations at all (i had the straps shortened on mine, but that was all i did). it was pretty low-cut, but very flattering on everyone

I think those dresses are GORG – – – when I was looking for floor length Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses I had my girls try on Jenny Yoo dresses – – I think they’re great quality. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of those dresses above, seriously!!!

I had a Jenny Yoo dress (“Kayla”) and LOVED it! The quality was great and the price was even better! :o)

I am loving these dresses and even though they’re more expensive then the bridesmaid dresses, I think they’re reasonable. @dana, did you have your appointment yet?

A girlfriend of mine who was married two years ago had a Jenny Yoo dress. It was well made and looked gorgeours on her. It prompted me to take a look at her dresses for my own wedding! If you live in the Los Angeles she has a store on Melrose. Also, October 26th is her fashion show of her latest collection. RSVP is required and it’s $15/person. http://www.jennyyoo.com/soiree-la.html. I’m considering of her current collection: the Margaux Bridal #1018B; Juliet Bridal #180B; and Simone Bridal #720B. We’ll see what newest collection has!
