I’d like to create my own programs, and place cards, but I’d like to incorporate the design being used on my cake and invites.
Any suggestions or help? I’ll attach a picture of the preliminary design for the invite. Thank you so much, Bees!!

hmmm – i bought these from michaels

but if you go to http://www.gartnerstudios.com (click on brides collection) you can download the templates – you just have to make sure your paper is the same size i think – they are blank word documents but at least the sizing will be right.

I’m not sure about the cake or stuff, but for designing, photoshop or Gimp (free “light” version of Photoshop) is perfect.
I could make you a basic design layout and upload it or email it to you.
kinda like the one here: http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/table-numbers-need-a-computer-whiz-bee
what type of invites are you getting/have bought?
hope this helps!!!

You would be my SAVIOR!!!
That actually IS my invitation, I just need something similar to it to put on my programs, table numbers, etc.
I just don’t know how to design.

@missa2152: Fair warning: I doubt the florish will be identical. They’re probably using a paid-for brush or object. (technical term, I know. Think expensive picture.)
I can do something similar, though!
What size are you wanting???
I can create it and save it as a .jpg which you can alter in your own software. (I suggest downloading Gimp and using that, though there are good online programs you can use, too).

@Zinzerena:
That’s okay! Any help you can offer is appreciated, really.
I’m not sure about size (See? I’m REALLY not good with this kind of thing) I’ll just be importing the design into the corners of paper.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU!

@missa2152: lol, no problem! I LOVE doing stuff like this!!!! It took a bit longer than I expected, but I got it to work. π Check your email for the larger version than what’s on here. π
I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it prints out ok, cause I didn’t test it. Kinda ran out of time on my lunch hour.

I received it, and did a test print, and it’s perfect. This is really going to add a wonderful, uniformed look to everything in my wedding. You really helped me out, and saved me quite a bit of money.
Thank you again. Are you a graphic designer or something?

@missa2152: EXCELLENT!!!!!
sorta. I took classes, but I don’t have a job in it. I do digital art as a hobby, though, and also do some graphic design here and there. π I’ve designed and redesigned our invites at least four times since last June, lol.
I am sooo glad it worked out for you!!! π I’ve got lots of friends who are doing stuff for us and have done stuff for us, so I like to do the same for others (including my friends) as much as possible.
Besides, it’s fun! π lol

@Lisa10519: ummm… what do you mean? for fall time? I just used the one she had already bought (the pic above) to make this for her. So, I’m afraid I don’t understand what you want…
