Even a stellar photographer has no idea which tiny details are important.  Did your grandma make all the jam that is serving as favors?  Is your bouquet wrapped in something more significant than a regular ribbon you picked up at a sewing store?

You have to mention these things.  Me?  My bouquet will be wrapped in lace from the dress that my mother and grandmother both wore (I can’t wear it, I’m entirely the wrong shape).  Daffodils are very significant to our relationship, so I really want a picture of our rings on the stem of one.  I want to do a similar thing to a first look with my dad. I’ll be giving the groom a set of Superman cufflinks to wear that need to be photographed.  Actually, I also want the moment he opens them to be photographed.

Yes, they know what moments are significant and what to capture.  But the little things that are unique to your relationship and situation, you need to tell them or they will miss it.  They are not mind readers.

My husbands hands in the shape of a heart on my lower back was a shot I had to have.  I initially saw this on pinterest and loved the idea.  I printed the black and white one on a canvas and it will hang over my bed 🙂
