I have a solitaire on a plain 2mm palladium band. I found a place that thinks they can engrave it (I got the ring online), but I’m just wondering what they engraving would actually look like. Is it easily readable? Is there only one font you could use for the engraving, or do others work when the width is that small? Thanks.

I do! My wedding band is 1.7 mm thick and has my husband’s name (Scott) engraved inside. It’s pretty dang small – I’m not sure if you’d have many options for fonts. When I sent mine off, I just asked the guy to do it as best he could. He did it in an all caps font…
excuse the cat photobomb, haha

I just got a new band for Valentine’s day with a line from our vows engraved on the inside. The band is 1.5mm and the font is in cursive so it can be a little hard to read unless you look at it closely.

I have a 2.3mm band with “make it so” engraved in it and can read it just fine. It’s in a normal type font not cursive

Thanks everyone. I just want to get my fiance’s name engraved on the inside…I’m excited to see if they can do it.
