I’m in the market for a ring upgrade and found the colourless emerald cut harro gem- I love step cuts but hate when they show any colour. does anyone have a step cut harro gem? Post all the pics here!

I would love to learn more about these stones… not much info out there. I sell Neo moissanites to my clients and am interested in working with a Canadian company seeing as how I am in Toronto but it’s hard to tell based on the information currently out there.

Bumping to see if anyone has any more knowledge about Harro gems since this post. I have fallen in love with emerald cuts and possibly working on a new ring project, trying to decide between F1 Emerald or Neo or Harro.
Harro seems great how they can do custom cuts, but there is so little info out there on them and a lack of reviews. Thanks!!

Harro Gem has some seriously gorgeous stones out right now. My favorite moissy right now for sure. I want to see one IRL so bad!

I bought a loose crushed ice oval harro gem that will be here tomorrow. I’m super nervous since the only thing I had to go on was their instagram videos. hopefully they’re just as beautiful in person. I had a hard time deciding between the crushed ice oval, crushed ice pillow cushion, and their pear. So we’ll see if I made the right choice or if it’s going to be exchanged for another shape. I’ll post pics when i have it!

Those crushed ice stones look amazing! I’d love to see the pillow cut or oval IRL. On Instagram, Harro seems to have the best looking fancy cuts.

joo6758 : Is that yours? Is it a F1 or ENV – It is really pretty! Any idea what size that is? The thing that nags at me about the C&C emeralds is they don’t have “windmills” like diamond emerald cuts do. I wonder if the Harro EC has the “windmills”.
bellabee16 : I must be out of the loop … what is a crushed ice oval? An chunkier faceted cut than regular oval?

bellabee16 : OMGGG I’m so excited to get your opinion on the Harro !!!!

lilsweetie : it’s got a crushed ice appearance, I’ve seen a few ovals that are cut similar but it’s more common in cushions. Basically they just add several more smaller facets. This helps the stone not have that splintery look like so many moissanite cuts do. Also here’s a couple of their emerald cuts, the chubbier one looks to have more pronounced windmills.
