I’m considering picking the color (dessy’s meadow, it’s a pastel green) and the length of the gown (long), but letting my girls pick whatever style and fabric they choose, out of chiffon and satin. Does anyone have an example of how this looks in a picture? A pastel color would be preferred, just because I think it might be harder to pull off compared to a dark color. I’m worried my pastel green color will just make it look weird up there if the girls are in different fabrics. I would love to see an example!

I don’t have any examples, but I would order swatches in the 2 fabrics to make sure you like them together. I was going to do the same thing as you and let them pick any fabric as long as it was dark purple, but then I found out that the same color can look very different on chiffon versus satin.

sorry i dont have a picture, but my girls are all three in different dresses, all three different fabrics, but the same color (navy blue)- one is in satin, one chiffon, and one jersey. they look great together! hopefully that can ease your worry a bit. bridal stores should have color swatches on all the different fabrics so you can see how it looks. besides, different can be pretty! hope it all works out!
