I have a size 8 finger size and my ring is a 1ct. cushion cut and (to be quite honest) it looks very small on my finger. My fingers are short and it just looks out of place. I think that if I had a larger stone or have a halo setting, it would give the illusion of a bigger stone. I don’t have a picture right now but I’ll try to post one soon for you.

Here is mine, I am a ring size 7, and the center stone is a .8 (it looks a little bigger because it is cut “wide” rather than having a lot of depth).  Hope this helps! πŸ™‚

I have a ring size 9 so my hands are really big πŸ™‚  I have just under a carat but my band is 8mm wide so that helps.

I have giant sized hands but my fingers are skinny so I wear a 5.25 size ring. My diamond is 1.32 carat

I inherited my dad’s big old hands. My ring size is 8.5 and my center diamond is 1.3 carats. I’m having it re-set in the halo because of my weird perception that it looks disproportionate on my finger.

My hands are not much smaller than yours. My ring size is 6.5 and my center stone is 1ct. I think it looks good. I have several people comment on how big it is (although I think that is mostly bc I live in the midwest lol. I definitely don’t think it looks big on me), but I have never felt it looks too small on me either.

ha – to me you ALL have tiny hands!  i inherited mine from my mom via my grandfather, who had the largest hands of any man i’ve ever known other than Manute Bol.

my ring size is 12, and my center stone is a 3ct alexandrite.

@Jen4414: thank you!  i love it and agree, it is the perfect size/stone for me.  i’m not self-conscious about my giant manhands, i came to terms with them a long long time ago…but it does help that he had the foresight to find a stone that doesn’t get lost on my hand!  πŸ™‚

i love the colored stone/diamond combo too.  i hope you get what you want!  for us, he knew i didn’t want any new diamonds and that i wanted a colored center stone, so he used the smaller diamonds from his grandmother’s and mom’s e-rings for the bands of both the e-ring and the wedding band.  i love having a bit of his family history tied to my ring!

I have big hands! Really; wide, with long fingers. My ring size is an 8. My center stone is only about .5c, but I think it appears bigger than that because I have a 3 stone band. I love my ring; I really don’t think it looks too small on my hand.

Mine ring size is a 7, and my stone is a .75.  I love it, and have received many comments on how big it looks.
