My husband got me a second band for our 5 year anniversary.  I actually used to also have a spacer band between my e ring and wedding band but it was stolen when our house was burglarized and I never replaced it. I’m super happy with my stack now!

snatchingravy :  I love your wedding band choice! Are you getting the second band in yellow gold as well?

My husband bought me a 20th anniversary pave band and we had it blessed at our Vow Renewal so now I wear 3.

I went back and forth about what I wanted for my plain solitaire. I thought that a plain band was too matchy-matchy, so I had a matching 3/4 eternity band made. Then, I got a little sad, because I wanted something no-fuss that I could wear 24/7, and thought I’d miss out on the romanticism of “matching” plain bands with Fiance (he’ll be getting a 5 mm white gold band, whereas I’d get a 2 mm rose gold). So, I ordered a cheapie tungsten band just to make sure, and yep…I’ll be going with all 3, right off the bat.

I have two wedding bands. Platinum band is from my husband and never comes off. I picked the rose gold shared prong ring (he chose the engraving). Sometimes I move the rose gold ring to my right hand and wear a channel set ring in its place. But there’s no sentimental value with the channel band. Most of the time, I stack all four.

snatchingravy :  technically yes as I have mu wedding band but my husband bought me a trinity ring for my 30th and I alternate between the two and occasionally wear the two together without my engagement ring.

I have my 3rd band in the process of being shipped! When we were married I went with a solid yellow gold band with matching width (2mm each) to my engagement ring becuase I thought I liked the dainty look and I liked the idea of both bands being the same. A year in and I find myself wishing my ring was a bit more substantial in width. For our first anniversary we’ve ordered a beautiful 4mm diamond band that I’m SO excited to wear between my engagement ring and wedding band.

Here is my current set:

Here is the ring that is on the way and should be here by Thursday afternoon!

In a way. I have my band from my husband made of black diamonds and platinum since I have a metal allergy now. But on my wedding day I actually wore a diamond band I already owned and wore that sucker until we figured out it gave me rashes. And a few months later my black diamond band was given to me. I will be using the diamond band again once I can reset it into platinum and I will get an anniversary band eventually with sapphires and platinum. I have 0 problems with more than one band. Although I would probably call any new ones an anniversary band instead now.

I have 3 bands! A thin 3/4 diamond band, round 1.42ct eternity band, and a .75ct princess cut 5 stone band. Love all of them and don’t typically stack them as I like wearing one band only with my engagement ring.

snatchingravy :  Nothing wrong with having a more laid-back band and a blingier band. You do what is best for you! Btw, I love your set!

A lot of women have multiple bands. Especially with the stacking trend. Or they reset their rings when they feel like they need a change. It just depends on what is right for them.

300bride :  Oh my gosh I love your set and the new band you got! I hope you post a thread when you get the new band…would love to see lots of pics! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

franklymydearidont :  Thank you! I definitely will! I’m sooo excited for it. Our anniversary is in April and I’ll be getting the ring this week and I don’t think I’ll be waiting to start wearing it! I love how unique the diamonds are placed on the band…I’ve not seen a ring like it before!
