I wear my ring almost all the time but on the rare occasion that I do take it off, I still have the box it was in when Fiance proposed. I don’t really understand why anyone would spend $100 on a box to put their ring in, that seem absolutely absurd to me.

Ugggh, I have never understood these silly things! I’m not poor by any means, but $100 is just stupid. They don’t even look like they’re good quality, they’ve always looked cheap to me.

I don’t sleep with my ring on ever, and sometimes take it off if I don’t want to get it dirty. I have a small frame wth a hook I keep it on when I’m not wearing it. I could totally justify buying a $100 box to keep it in. $100 seems like small change to keep my ring safe!

I still have my box that Fiance proposed with. That’s where my ring goes when I’m not wearing it 🙂 would not spend $100 on a ring box!

You can get a ring holder for like $12 on Amazon or DIY one of these boxes using about $4 worth of material. There’s simply nothing about these boxes that warrants the price tag.

Many bees have DIY’ed the Mrs Box. I would rather use a ring dish That costs half the price of the Mrs Box.

I rarely take it off but if I must it goes in a ring holder in my jewelry box along with my other pieces

Edit- if taking off longer, medical procedure or something, it goes in a travel jewely box and goes in the safe

I spent a little more than that and have a huge wooden jewelry box with a ring tray where all my rings, wedding set included, live when I am not wearing them. Personally I think that is a waste.

I take my rings off all the time for cooking, cleaning, working out, and sleeping.  However, I think this little box is just silly especially for the price.  It would be just as easy to lose this little box as it would be the ring itself without it.  I keep my rings in my vanity that has a secret compartment for jewelry.

I would never spend $100 on that, would rather DIY one, like a bee posted yesterday.  I have a large jewelry box where I put them sometimes, especially when I’m cleaning my apartment, but most of the time I use the ring dish I have on my nightstand.  I also have a satin jewelry keeper I carry in my bag in case I have to take my rings off while away from home.

ct2015:  It keeps it safe from myself mostly. The ring has a designated space, so it would always go in that space. I wouldn’t put it in my pocket one day, on the counter next day, some place else the next time I take it off. I think that having something with a lid keeps it safer than something without a lid, and that a whole box may be easier to locate if it fell off my vanity, as opposed to  just my ring. I guess it is more peace of mind safety, not as if something could never happen to it safety.

Of course there are cheaper options out there, but if she can afford it, wants it, and will use it, $100 isn’t that much to spend. I’m sure we each have something that someone else would think is overpriced/waste of money.

I have a jewelry box that holds all of my jewelry. For rings, I usually keep the boxes they come in and then place them in the jewelry box when Im not wearing them.
