I’m desperately seeking the Vermandois Font (including Vermand Splatters) from Magpie Paper Works. If anyone would be willing to share with me I’d be eternally grateful! I’m tring to design my invites and just can’t afford the $76 price tag right now. Thanks so much in advance!
Feel free to PM me if you’re more comfortable with that!

Try dafont.com. They have lots of free fonts and they may have one that’s similar to the one you like. I’ve used them for graphic design projects a lot.

@hunnysgethitched: Do you happen to remember the name of the similar font? Thanks!

Hi @curlymama318, my name is Jessica and I designed the Vermandois font family. I’m so glad you like the font – that means a lot. I know it’s a bit expensive for a font, but it took over a year to hand-letter, design & code, and most of the proceeds go to supporting a rotating menagerie of rescued/formerly-abused puppies + kitties.
I totally understand what it’s like to fall in love with a font, so if you send me a note through the contact link on my site (http://www.magpiepaperworks.com/blog/) with the names that you want to have set in the font for your invitations, I may be able to email you a file that you can paste into your design. That way you get the letters you adore legally. 🙂

@MagpiePaperWorks: Wow. This makes me want to support Magpie Paper Works even more now. I purchased Saissant for my wedding stationary (ALMOST got Vermandois). It was hard for me as I know every penny counts in the wedding budget but the font was exactly what we wanted!
Now after reading this post, I will definitely be looking into buying more fonts in the future, just because the designer is so NICE! I know many other designers might have reminded the OP that what she was asking for would kind of be stealing her product, but instead Jessica reached out and tried to help someone in need. That is just amazing to me!
By The Way, I’m totally going to recommend the Ondise font to my sister for her future wedding. It’s cheaper and GORGEOUS! Ladies, check it out!
