i want to get a lot fitter than i am – partly about being toned for the wedding, but partly for general health.
thing is, im not close to a gym ,i cant drive and theres no public transport near me! ive been looking for a fitness dvd at local supermarket but havent found one…and when i look on the internet ive only found short seperate videos of a minute or two each
i heard you can do toning exercise with cans etc. but i dont have the motivation/imagination to make up my own workout – so what im looking for, if possible, is just a workout i can follow
any ideas would be appreciated!!thanks!

It’s not free, but Netflix has loads of exercise videos. Cardio Booty Blast is my favorite. It’s awesome. There are also Pilates workouts, workouts with hand weights, and so on.

that is a link to a whole series of online workout videos. they even have a 30 day program, etc.
i have been doing pure barre for about 6 months now, and while i attend a studio, they do have great dvd’s that i would suggest switching it up with in between your high intense cardio for the best results!!

I second the netflix suggestion. A subscrption is very cheap and they have hundreds of excercise videos

Besides Netflix, I would recommend picking up the book “The Abs Diet for Women” by David Zinczenko. It really changed my last year. It’s really not so much a diet, but eating healthier in general. It includes recipes and workouts as well. David is the editor of the Men’s Health magazine, and I would also recommend his other books, “Eat This, Not That!”
But anyway, his workouts really helped me, and they are available on DVD too. Good luck and congratulations! ^_^

Women’s Health magazine has a ton of workouts on their website. They don’t have videos, just the workouts themselves.
