I would love to know too. I am sure there are programs to do that but I have no idea which!

@Ms.Pink:

If you have a MAC you can use GarageBand. If not, download Audacity. It’s a free download and it’s very easy to use. Good luck.

If you have itunes I believe that you can right click on the song, go into the “get info” and click “options” There you can pick where in the song you want to start and stop…

And then, if I remember correctly, it will burn like that… or if you’re using an ipod and you sync the song onto the ipod with those “specs” then it’ll play like that.

I know that there are programs you can download online, but I never trusted them enough to do it.

@runsyellowlites:

It’s true that you can use iTunes, however actual music editing programs will let you fade in / out etc. iTunes will stop abruptly. Not very romantic. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I use a program called Audacity. I cut my processional song down to like a minute and a half using it.

(I also use it for making my own ringtones ๐Ÿ™‚

My FH is a music engineer and he uses a program on his Mac, its similar to the garage band one, so I would try garage band. I am using the Canon D song and he cut that down for me with fade in and fade out. Good luck!

@Ms.Pink: if you can’t figure it out, let me know and I will ask FH when he gets home of another way you can do it. I also do not have a Mac and I THINK he can cut it down on my laptop as well.

I use RingDroid (the android app) for my ringtones–I bet you could use that to cut it down and then put it back on your computer… ๐Ÿ™‚

I use an old program called MP3Trim. It is a tiny simple program that cut songs and fades them out. Contact me if you want me to email it to you.

send me the song & I’ll do it- I’m a video editor. Just tell me at exactly what minute and second you want it to fade out at. It’s very easy for me. I’ll probably do it at work ๐Ÿ˜›

@Ms.Pink:  Hey there.  I am a DJ in Tallahassee, FL.  I’d be happy to edit your song for you.  It won’t take much time at all.  And then I can upload it, email you a link where you can download it.  How long do you want the song to be?  And is there a part of the song that you are fond of?  Happy to help.
