I really like picmonkey.com I am not sure if it will get rid of the grain in your photo but you can crop the picture on there and they have an option to save the photo as a high quality file. So that may help so that you can crop the photo without making it grainy!

Sorry I don’t know one, but I’ve been using GIMP to edit wedding photos (cropping and other stuff like teeth whitening….) and I love it!

Picmonkey is also pretty good!

LongIslandRN:  hi- what size is the pic as maybe it’s looking pixelated because the file size is too small. Also what are you hoping to use the cropped image for (print, facebook profile pic etc)?

If the cropped image is a small percentage of the original image you may not have the resolution for an 8×10.  No photo editing can create more resolution than what was in the original image.  Can you share original and cropped image?

crop in picmonkey then you can use something like noiseware to remove some of the grainyness. it may ‘soften’ the image if you over use it however.

It sounds like it’s too small.  If you have a full size photo that should not be happening. Can you check the dimensions in pixels?  How did you receive your photos?  If they were posted to an online site and you right clicked to download them you probably didn’t get the full resolution size.

I’m happy to try and edit it for you – I’m a hobbyist but I do use Lightroom which is what the pros use.  i actually love editing photos!
